Its Carltons training facility, works as a VFL ground as they dont get more than 10,000. Name one AFLW game this year that got more than 5000 at the game without giving tickets away. You may think you would fill Marvel stadium but I doubt it.
Only 12,122 were able to attend this match because the AFL for some bizarre reason chose Ikon Park over Marvel and the MCG. It is also interesting to note that before the Taxpayer donated $70 Million to Ikon Park the venue had a capacity of 26,000. Today it holds 12,000.

Why would you play a Grand Final at a venue that holds anywhere between 50,000 and 100,000 when such a small crowd was going to come regardless of the choice of venue? This is North Melbourne that we're talking about. North Melbourne can't even get 12,000 of their supporters to attend their fixtures in the men's competition. This was a good turnout for them. There was nothing wrong with the choice of venue at all.

It’s hard enough to listen to the commentary on men’s football but the women’s is at another level. “North Melbourne are dominant in every aspect of the game” said in the middle of the period where they kicked 3 goals in 3 quarters which also included a scoreless quarter.

I watched a local Under 15s boys Grand Final and I can tell you the boys were faster, kicked as far or further than these ladies and both sides scored 15 goals plus in the game. Both sides would have destroyed these ladies teams and the women want to be professionally paid? Please.

Theses ALFW have improved a lots the past three years. My team former mate Darren Jarmen at Gaza doesn't like congested football game and it destroyed free flowing game. I blames ALL AFL coaches allow that to happen when Saves and Wallace started that crap styles

When i was in Aus, i turned out week After week to watch my female colleague play. The play is constantly stuck on one side of the ground or moves around like a swarm of Bees 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 So there very " Attractive" to watch. Its nog a gender issue for me ( if you are wondering ) I have paid 'squillons' to watch a Tennis match between Navratalova and Evert or Evert-Lloyd...and I would still. Maybe they could 'tweak the game' a touch for AFLW. ??? Another thing These women appear less fit ( Why??), maybe they should train with a senior Boys team that dont hold back or with mixed teams from their respective reserves ...I am a Saints member of some 25 years, but have now left Australia to retire.
