This may be nitpicky, but the entry ramp on the bow bothers me simply because the actual design for the Razor Crest only has entries from the port and stern.
The Stroud/eklund stability pro landing bay comes off to the side, I found that on akila city too. I’ve maxed out ship construction and done walter’s quest so it might be either of those if you don’t see it
In terms of stats the one in the video isn't the best. It uses a lot of default parts from the original frontier which aren't that great. You'll have to customize it to your liking for it to be better
I can’t find a port which sells all of these items, is there a way to store ship modules? As i buy what i need from one city but cannot attach to the ship without the rest
I would recommend building a "landing pad with shipbuilder" at your outpost. You should most of the pieces in the game accessible through the terminal that is on top of that landing pad. You still might have to travel to some places for specific pieces. But no, you cannot store pieces sadly.
try building one of those ship builder landing pads you can make for pretty cheap at your outpost. That way you can see *most* of the parts in the game
I could be wrong but doesn't the (spoilers) mantis quest gige you a ship with a rear entry ramp or is there no way to use that on another ship? I've been playing for a while but haven't tried to do much ship building until I got later in the game
I'll have to look into that. I actually never thought to build it based off that since I built this razor crest off of what the original creator had available
I’ve tried the ship builder a few times. How do you just buy parts separately? Like say I have to go to multiple vendors? What do I do? Because I’ve only seen parts on the ship builder screen
@@FlyingTeacup even if it isn’t your home shop, you have to be able to save your progress to keep the parts otherwise it makes you cancel the modiificstions you’ve made
I built it mostly at neon but you’ll have to fly to different areas to build it, depending on the parts required. For example, stroud parts can be bought at neon or the stroud star yard, Deimos as the Deimos star yard, etc. you can find a video on my channel showing all of the available vendor locations you can buy ship parts at.
i’m actually going to drop a mandalorian music overhaul this week. i found the id for all the sound files. When you complete a quest it plays the short little mandalorian riff
If you’re talking about the base ship, it’s the frontier which is the starter ship you get in the beginning of the game. I dismantled it and just put pretty much all new pieces on it like the video shows
I can’t even finish the first mission without the game crashing. I’m using the newest gen hardware does anyone has a fix? I’ve tried everything I could find but they don’t work.
Probably a dumb question on my part but is the game on a hdd or ssd. I had major issues and crashing till I moved it over to my ssd and the games ran great.i have Rx5700xt r5 3600 16gb ram and running at 60fps at medium
How tf are you snapping these pieces together. im literally trying to do exactly what you do when you first start building but the docker and the bay dont snap together. Everything is literally the exact same thing lol. EDIT: I got it. You gotta time it right when changing the level of the part.
Love it, pain to build at times (specifically the landing gear, had to make a monster to fly to Deimos's spacestation to get the landing gear there), but the weaponry is...somewhat laughable in its' power. There's not enough power to get the weapons at max, and the weapons themselves lack the punch to quickly kill anything. Mmm. Looks great, but the function of the craft is annoyingly poor. No habs on board to build your own gear or upgrades etc. Not enough weapon power. Style over function.
I completely agree. It used a lot of default parts from the frontier so it was always going to have bad stats. It is definitely more of a cheaper build so you'll have to add your own weapons and shields, etc. to make it better.

Just built this and it came out to around 86,400 Credits fyi! Thank you for this video, I was itching to make the razor crest
Thank you for letting me know the total and I'm glad I was able to share this build!
This may be nitpicky, but the entry ramp on the bow bothers me simply because the actual design for the Razor Crest only has entries from the port and stern.
No I 100% agree, but unfortunately there are no side-ramps in the game compatible with this design
@@NinjaPups I'm excited to see what modders come up with though. Especially when it comes to interior designs!

@@finngreen8192 I have that on one of my current ships, but unfortunately you can't use both types unless someone's got a mod to allow that on PC.
@@Madsynth1987 yeah, I just realised the ship has to be two people lengths wide to fit it in. I was so happy when I found it too
I wish we could change the color of the interiors.
Looks great, i wish we could build some of the ships from the Homeworld series, those look great too.
This is fantastic. thanks for sharing it! Can't wait to try it!
Feel free to replace some of the things like reactors or grav drive and weapon parts if you want better specs!
I like this person's voice.
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the kind words :)
Next is the Naboo star fighter 😮
Nice work must build it for me, are there no stronger Shields avaiable ? does it work with C reaktor ?
Actually the Stroud/eklund stability pro landing bay faces sideways, that’s also on akila city
Cheers
My biggest issue is all the landing gear at the back none at the front
I know, it can be difficult to make it look good with front landing gear because you can’t put the ramp on the side like it’s supposed to :(
This is awesome. If i invest pretty much all I have to build it how will it fare? Storage ok? Shields and weapons decent spec?
Many thanks
In terms of stats the one in the video isn't the best. It uses a lot of default parts from the original frontier which aren't that great. You'll have to customize it to your liking for it to be better
I still want the ramp in the back, it just doesn’t feel like the Razor Crest otherwise

The Razorleaf is very obviously inspired by it
Are there schematics for a U-wing from Star Wars?
I'll keep my eyes peeled

Yeah that’s what you do, you go on ship builder and go to different shipyards and star ports to get different parts
@@ksmith2904 that’s such a headache, having to semi assemble it but also make sure the ship is able to fly and then go to another ship port
@@NathersJones not really because you don't have to make it your homeship + you can just fast travel from one staryard to the other without flying

where shoukd i go to build this? like where is all the parts so i dont have to jump back and fourth
