Pac-Man world 3 is my favorite. It’s the one I grew up with so I have nostalgia for the game. And I remember world 3 giving me nightmares as a kid lol. The monsters and ominous music especially. I don’t think it’s that bad like most people make it out to be. But I can agree world 2 had more charm to the game but I hated the difficulty spikes and could never beat it as a kid.
The dialogue and voice-acting in PMW3 made it the most entertaining of the trilogy. I just loved the campiness of it, and I wasn't expecting any sort of sarcastic humor from a Pac-Man game. Pac-Man just sounds like a cheerful, young, and childish guy who wants to save the world from an evil doofus. PMW3 was like Deadpool: The Video Game in that its sense of humor does an outstanding job of distracting a player from the mediocre gameplay, repetitive levels, and empty areas. The first 2 weren't really that great anyway. They were serviceable and enjoyable, but they were vanilla 3D platformers with a Pac-Man skin slapped on them. They were no better than part 3, aside from sporting crappier and more frustrating level design. Even if I'll give PMW2 credit for having more level variety, at least I could get a lot of cheap laughs out of the 3rd title, especially during Pac-Man's arguments with Erwin. In that section of Erwin's fortress with the lasers and the rotating platforms, the way he tries to sound brave and heroic while he asserts his future victory over Erwin had me snickering over how cheesy his voice is. The cut-scene after he defeats Erwin for the 1st time had me in stitches, as did this game's ending. It's almost as if the creators were thinking, "Yeah, this probably won't be a Mario competitor, either. Let's just have some fun with it, right?". As for PMW4, I wouldn't hold your breath, folks. Namco Bandai's busy banging out DBZ games right now.
No matter what anyone says about Pac-Man World 3 (I think it’s the weakest game in the franchise and probably part of the reason why Pac-Man because an even more overly unpopular franchise especially because its predecessors (for home consoles) are the masterpieces people weren’t ready for), the voice acting here was so good that even though for the movie, I planned Jerry Trainor as Pac-Man (just like how I previously mentioned that most Pac-Man games aren’t as recognized nor credited as much as they should be, Nickelodeon shows (re: the ones with Jerry Trainor like the ones by Dan Schneider (mainly iCarly as Spencer) and Butch Hartman (re: Tuff Puppy, though I think Bunsen is a Beast is the worst of the worst) with a few exceptions like The Last Airbender, Rocko’s Modern Life (before Static Cling) and Invader Zim are overrated), Grace Park as Ms. Pac-Man, Michael J. Fox, Jay Sean and Mario Cantone as either one of the main members of the Ghost Gang, Angie Harmon as Pinky and etc, I wouldn’t mind a reprise of the voice acting roles of the PMW3 cast!
Ngl, regardless of how samey and simplified (except for CitC and bosses 2-3 of PMW1) the bosses in PMW1&2 are, I think they are a lot of fun because like it’s predecessors, the game itself is just so full of passion, world-building, amazing graphics, master-music-pieces and adventure!
Fun fact: The Pac-Pellet attack in Pac-Man World 1 can actually be charged if you hold down the button long enough. (though it uses 10 pellets instead of 1) Also, in Pac-Man World 2 & 3, Clyde and Blinky's colors are mixed up for some reason. Clyde is supposed to be orange, while Blinky is supposed to be red.

Fun fact: one of the two music composers for World 3 went on to become the sole composer for de Blob 1 & 2, which has... the exact opposite music style to this game, much more fun and energetic, and even before they made great soundtracks for the two Fairly OddParents games from the same devs, so what the heck happened here who knows.
It’s also the first name of the little brat from the movie AniMat is gonna review with his Seal of Garbage today which just goes to show that the drop in quality of the Hunchback of Notre Dame duology (1 was by Disney Animation, but 2 was by DisneyToon, you know, just like with the Brother Bear and Fox and the Hound duologies that are also a drop in quality that isn’t as big, but still pretty big) of the Pac-Man franchise when it went from Pac-Man World 2 (2002) to Pac-Man World 1 (2004), 2 (2005) and 3!
World 2 is just sooooo memorable and iconic to me. I first played it when I was 4 years old. That soundtrack was my childhood and Blade Mountain.....the nostalgia

Its funny you mention Namco possibly doing the world formula again in the future because originally back in 2009-2010 there was a PAC man world-like game in development called Pacman world 2010. There's even an animation and artwork of this game.
Okay, so I see this has been commented but: "Zephyr" is a word that roughly means "gentle breeze." Hence the Flying type Gym Leader in Pokemon Gold/Silver giving you the Zephyr Badge. I really like the design of that level too, as well as its introductory music. Speaking of which, try re-listening to "Spectral Vale: Action Theme 2." The one that plays when you "fight" the Spectral Fiend (little orange villain.) That theme's a bop. But I'm also just kinda partial to the Spectral Realm in general because it's the most unique area in World 3 by far with those blinking platforms and swirling fog. Too bad the plot demands it to be killed off...
same, its a solid game with memorably good writing only real gripe is the spectral monster sections without blinky people complain about the combat but the sections are often over in 2 minutes or less for me so it doesnt slow much down at all

Given how the platforms in PMW2 are are as thin and tiny as pencils, you'd think Namco would've slashed down how far Pac-Man flies away when he's hit by an enemy. That was a nasty oversight on their part, and it makes the game unnecessarily difficult as a result. That was the main reason I ended up preferring games like the Sonic Adventure duo and Mario 64, despite their own flaws. Rayman 2 & Banjo Kazooie are also superior. Heck, I'd even prefer to play PMW3. At least the platforms in that game aren't small, tiny, and easy to get knocked off of. Instead, PMW3 has wide, open arenas for the most part. Pac-Man also doesn't fly 300 feet every time he's injured by an enemy. What part 3 lacks in level variety compared to part 2, PMW3 makes up for in less frustration. It's much, much funnier and a better game overall.

7:36 I believe originally there was going to be a 4th level in the volcano world. You see there is an unused level called Kooky Crypt that was cut for unknown reasons. I think that's why there are only three stages in the volcano world in the final game.
With the camera issues and you not having them is I think due to your copy of Pac-Man World 2 is the greatest hits copy which has changes from the original release and with the GR version they made it more like the Japanese version which made both easier especially for the Japanese way easier, so I would assume they’d fix the camera a little bit better for the GR copy that your using
As for PacMan World 1: You can find the way (as I did) to cheat on the wheel after the finishing of each level & get 3 extra lifes per spin... I finished the game with more than 300 lifes, and that's also why you enjoy the mazes in the levels themselves... You risk a few of your 'infinite' lifes to complete 100% of the level. Nostalgia...

In order to do that, you should remember the two fruits BEFORE the pear (I don't remember though which ones they are specifically)... Anyways, LETS SAY there comes a lemon, then a berry, and then the pear... When you notice the lemon, you should be prepared to press the button while the berry passes, and if you train a bit and learn when the timing is correct, you will be able to get it correctly many times. Just keep the order of the fruits in mind, find the correct timing, and after training it some times it will get really easy for you to achieve it. I got at the point were I ended the game with 320+ lives after trying to see how many I can get through the spins.

I want a pac-man world 4 & a pac-man world rally 2 with patra from pac-man party as a playable character. Namco needs to get their shit together. Pac-man needs to return to the platforming genre. I've only played a little bit of pac-man world 2 before.
Although I hoped the music and the graphics in world 3 to be better, the graphics are the worst in the GameCube version and the music feels very glitchy at a lot of times but I still think it is a good game (I do tolerate the length of this game) even if it is far from being better than the previous two games. The PS2 version of this is the best to me honestly
Blitz games if you want a game made for a quick buck that's nothing ground-breaking but will get the job done. They did those weird ass Burger King games and a few other licenced crap.

Bandai Namco won't put out a Xenosaga HD Collection I don't think they'll do a Pac Man World HD collection...but hey they remastered Tekken Tag Turnoment and .Hack//G.U. so when literally no one asked.

My version of Pac-Man world 2 DOES have wide screen and I have it on GameCube. Maybe it was only in PAL versions as I’m from europe
