excellent. at 35 years of age my girlfriend was so freaked out about getting her license ( the road test ) that I sent her to driving school. I said: " honey, just pay attention, they'll show you the step by step infallible way and you WILL pass your driving test." and sure enough SHE DID. she even showed ME how to parallel park !

I'm as dull of hearing and applying advice as a dead fish.....I not only need reminding daily, I need to personally take everything on board as if my life depended on it.. .and if ya know me , you'd agree how spastic my attempts at living like everyone else has transpired , not very well or generally vey badly and now after coming to terms with my past dragon, I must listen to his alive about saving the father, my father's emotionless and may be involved so I've barred him and reakoned him dead to me.... It really is a war of attrition against your demons. Sometimes you take a big leap forward. Sometimes you get knocked down lower than when you started your journey upwards. Sometimes you just take a baby step towards your goal.
In the end, just keep moving forward. Every failure is practice to getting it right the next time. Just move forward and never stop taking action.
I’m living proof you can go from learning how to tie a noose to radiantly smiling at your good fortune everyday.
It just takes consistent, daily, hard work. Keep doing things and you’ll sort out the rest mentally over time. Actions will lead you away from overthinking and second guessing.

I've found from my own personal experience people who have been hurt the most have the most to give to our world and they do so freely unlike a person who hasn't been through much in their lifetime . I've find that I experience the same thing. Always expected to just soldier on as men. I find it hard to hold back my tears these days. Not sure why. so tired of life being so difficult. I like People but they suck. A lot of them anyway.

Thank You! I’ve been sharing this way of thinking for years. And I’ve seen brilliant changes in peoples lives when they stop being victims. You learned something of value, now you can help yourself and others.
You can almost feel the massive waves of love just pouring off of Jordan, and from his words. He doesn't cry because he is sad , when he is like this. Its a greater realization that is so powerful and so true. The spark of the devine is so strong, one cant help tears from falling. Tears arnt always a result of sadness . They come from deep devine realizations too. He can feel all the ppl he is talking to resonate to all these deep things that he is saying. And after the institutions and all the sudo-marcsous , confused individuals who told JP that he is wrong, and how terrible and bad he is and that no one could POSSIBLY find his ideas deep and helpful in a fabulously higher capacity, for education and spiritual growth..... yet he we ALL are.
( in my opinion) THAT, is where these kind of tears come from.

This is my answer. Thank you. Just at the perfect time in my life. I’m 87 yrs old. Lost my love of my life 6 mos ago. Married 68 years. Now- I do this hard thing of living without him.

This very sentiment it what both my Grandmother and Mother tried to instill in me. I have strived to be a better, stronger person because of this. I have to admit, it has been trying sometimes, given the fact that I have had much tragedy and malice directed at me, throughout my life. Especially now that both my Mother and Grandmother have passed.
It is harder for me to be able to extend the benefit of the doubt to others, now that I am permanently disabled. I no longer have the physical strength to defend myself, if faced with a difficult situation. Perhaps this has been a hinderance in the past. But given that my disability is visible, upon closer inspection, it may be that others see my vulnerability, to give me the benefit of the doubt. This is why I still meet adversity head on...because it is someone else's turn, to show they can be a stronger, better person.
This may be my undoing some day, but I think it is worth the risk.
