Look at the young people, stacked next to each other like a rock concert and all they want is knowledge , guidance and they are all there because they know they are hearing something special. The world wants to take out Peterson because he does good , when you are doing something really righteous and good the world does what it can to keep you from becoming who you are meant to be. God bless the world

Steven A - There are several: for instance, his historical perspectives are often way off; for another, his critiques of classical Marxism (and what he calls, “the Left”) verge on caricature - it’s painfully obvious that JP hasn’t seriously read any Marx. I’m no fan of Marxism, but if you’re going up against Old Karl, you had better do your homework first.

I watched this video nearly 2 years ago and it changed my life. On the 26th of October 2022, I began keeping a journal and increased my reading habits. Since then - I cannot imagine not living without a journal, trust me, this might be the only habit that requires no discipline.
    My whys:
Whenever I was feeling depressed (and naturally had no one to talk to), I would write. If I felt creative I would write - if I was bored I would write - if I wanted to vent, I would write. Another beautiful thing about it is you see life so much more deeply. If I had a 'normal' day, I would sit down for an hour and remember my entire day while contemplating each and every event, like I was analysing each mind, the situation, the place, the people, and myself. It gives you clarity, insight, wisdom, knowledge, and more.
    Unlocking your mind:
We all live with Minds but seem to never use them. When you write a journal you will feel the beauty of the human mind. Over time, it feels like gaining conscience all over again. It feels like you were a toddler who thought for the first time. The human mind is a marvel, a beauty! Mashallah. We all get by with just brains, not Minds! And in each Mind, there is a book, that needs to be opened. It is like a glass of water that must be spilled, or maybe a fruit that must be peeled.
    Struggles:
I am an extremely indisciplined person. (I hate saying this) I am overweight, not as well-read as I wish to be, I do not go to the gym or train in any sport etc. But journaling was easy! It was like an instant cure. I can organise my thoughts, think clearly, solve problems, forgive people, and so much more when I journal. Moreover, I reaped all the benefits Jordan Peterson went over; speaking more articulately &c.
    A guide for you:
To journal, I just used the Notes app on my phone, which I recommend because it is easy to access, write, hide &c. When writing an entry write the date and entry no. e.g. 13/9/24 (1), as the title and start writing; the problems that you want to solve, the miseries that you regret and how to go about them or accept them, the things you learned, the things you did (bad and good), the things you want to do, the things you wish to do, your goals, and contemplate on each aspect of your day a ton. Write when the iron is hot, do not overthink the process, if the iron is hot; your mind or heart will do the writing for you. And accompany this beautiful habit with reading and I wish you the best.

At high school I did a writing that everybody agreed was going to be the winner of the local competition. My teacher decided not to send it because she didn't like the last sentence. It talked about God, and it gave meaning to the rest of the writing. She told me to change it and I refused, so she refused to send it. She was provably jealous that I was a better writer at 17 than she would even be. It was a very insignificant thing, but yeah, teachers like that exist.
I'm a science teacher now, and I'm sure I'm 10 times a better teacher than she is.

People want to do better usually, they just can’t or don’t know how or have too many obstacles they don’t yet control. I think some agency is a good start.. know your mind, be in control of yourself, become articulate, acting thoughtfully in the world you become a force for good. Writing sharpens your mind. Reading exercises it. Speaking exposes both, your conviction and skill

I disagree with what Mr. Peterson said about there being only a small percentage of professors who would condemn good work on the basis that they disagree with the premise. More and more university professors are taking on an anti-education, pro-indoctrination mindset. Disagree with them, and your grades will suffer.

I felt this way too when I was taking an English class in a community college in NYC. The teacher forced us to read the New York Times without option, she forced us to attend lectures about Gay Rights and problems with Gentrification. But being a stubborn man and being in the 4th percentile of the personality trait “politeness”, I always wrote exactly how I felt. I was constantly worried she would fail me, but she grave me an A on all my papers. So in my experience, I think he’s right. Most teachers understand that even if they hate the way you think, they are grading you on your ability rather than your subject.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'd like to think that what you say is not true because they are letting their opinion get in the way. It is not about a profs ego it is about teaching people to think. One of my wisest profs told me that there are no wrong answers only poor arguments. There's more than one solution to every problem. Some solutions are better than others. In the real world, you will run scenarios and weigh the pro's and con's of each to come up with the best solution for your situation. A person has to learn how to do that and you can't if you default to the profs opinion.

i dont like some others and others some dont like me. people are not against war they are against the other side fighting back. its really a zero sum game for example either you have sex outside marraige or you dont have sex outside marraige you cant do both.

I have to say I think this is bad advice. If you have never written that much, been told that you have to spend years and re-writting a sentence 50 times is just going to make it even more difficult to get something out there.
