  • What Are the Symptoms of Thoracic Spondylosis? Thoracic (Mid-Back) Pain or Disc. Spondylolisthesis
More information on our website: age2b.com/thor...
The first and main symptom of thoracic spondylosis is pain in the middle portion of the spine. It occurs due to compression of nerve roots from disc herniation, bone spurs, or thickened ligaments. Back pain in thoracic spondylosis caused by an intervertebral disc herniation can worsen by sitting with the spine bending forward for prolonged periods of time.
Back pain in thoracic spondylosis caused by facet joint osteoarthritis is worse when standing and is relieved when sitting or bending forward. Pain in the arms and legs may be a symptom of thoracic spondylosis. Pain occurs due to compression of nerves, which extend into the arms and legs through the thoracic portion of the spine.
Besides pain, thoracic spondylosis can cause weakness, numbness, and cramping in the legs or arms. These conditions arise due to nerve compression, too. In severe cases, thoracic spondylosis can cause compression of the spinal cord and the development of problems with coordination and balance.

Please do what im asking you. 1) Buy a chin-up bar, install the chin-up bar at the top of a door frame. 2) buy a set of exercise bands, there flat, theres usually 5 in the set. 3) Take the strongest band and wrap it around the chin-up bar 3 or 4 times so that the two ends of the band hang down. Remember they are bands, so there just like giant elastic bands, so when the ends droop down from the chin-up bar their loops( hope you get what im saying). Now put each hand through each loop and grab hold of the neck of each loop, so essentially the bands will be wrapped around your wrists while your hands shall be grasping the neck of the loops. The lower yourself down brother. Just do it. The stretch is incredible, it relieves the pain, you feel incredible. Let me add, its not a cure ok, but its better than and medication, it has a decompressing effect, it stretched the whole spine with your body weight yet its easy to hold on because the bands act like shock absorbers, you just dangling there. I do it 8 to 10 times a day, theres no set number, do it when you like, it has helped me phyically and mentally..

I'm always sitting in chairs upside down to release the pressure.

I do the hangs when I can but we have a prefabricated home, so the frames are quite cheaply made, no option for a pull-up bar. I was thinking of getting one of those teeter hangers that you lay and strap your feet down and you just lean back till you're upside down. My very close friends father had really bad back issues and we always watched him doing his stretches and hanging upside down. He was a collision repair mechanic so his day job was worse for wear, as he couldn't relax himself long enough to have any real healing also he drank beer everyday which is known to slow or even halt the healing process. I have disc bulges in my neck and also I'm assuming my middle back as well because I'm having symptoms like pain across the chest wall and a slight pain on my right lower rib. I actually start to feel dizzy and have like temperature fluctuations then my arms start to go numb and I feel as if I'm going to faint. Been dealing with this since 2020 Jan 1. Am only just now getting seen by doctors and had mris done to find out about my neck, next visit is the neurologist..

Thank you for validating that for those of us with facet type, but leaning forward even bending forward at the waist makes your back feel better. People are always telling me to stand up straighter, and yes I think that is a good idea for my cervical neck problems, but my mid back sure feels better if I can just lean forward periodically during the day….

Maybe a rib out! I had a chiropractor say that he popped in my rib and the pain was gone for a good month! He gave me a lacrosse ball and said to roll on that area regularly to keep it in, quite interesting as I've had this pain for about 10 years now
The only other time they went away was from a acupressure shiatsu session
I noticed fasting and a clean diet seems to lower the inflammation
May we all eventually stand up straight comfortably and naturally! I'm done with the painful slouch

Im 28, have since years pain in my spine between the shoulder blades that radiates in the the front of my chest, primarily where the chestbone is. I also have numbness/pain around my collarbone, and have more and more shallow breath due to more tension/pain. (also pain under the ribs and a very tense esophagus until my mouth) Also I don't have a big stress tolerance, since I'm kinda under that constant pressure every time, and so stressful situations and food that supports inflammation are really draining. I thought for a long time that I am in a stressloop which creates tenseness in my body which stresses me again (pingpong), but since I meditate a lot and am aware of my body I start to consider that something else is going on. May it be that I have issues at two points of my spine? I appreciate every advice

      Can you get an mri

Have you gotten an mri? I have similar issues, not so much in the chest but always inbetween the shoulder blades which cause my whole back to cramp up 24/7 and I ended up having several herniated discs that were pinching nerves.

Start doing hanging exercises. Work your way up to 3 mins a day. I do 3, 1 minutes sets.
Has helped a lot and have only been doing this for a month now.
