Union Cerrera the metal and key and lock manufacturing plant that was in Arrasate and where the first attempt of Fr Arizmendi to make a more human company started and then the owners/managers denied the workers request, they decided to train a few young men from the town as engineers… and then in 1956 the first cooperative started.
