It is even more difficult to score better with more difficult questions?
Stamina is a huge part of GRE and focusing for 4.5 hours is very challenging. So given the fact that the new gre will have the same type and level of questions as the old gre so i would definitely chose the shorter version
Can you help me with the gre general test dates? Is it offered every month? Because on the website i cant see dates beyond October where i plan on taking the gre in January or February.
Also, how to get into business/management research in Pakistan during graduation, especially if TA-ship or research assistantship isn't available in most universities?
Check if your university has programs that allow students to conduct independent research projects under the guidance of a professor. You can approach a professor whose work you're interested in and propose a research project. Even if such formal programs are not available, you can always propose independent study. I have seen student at LSE and UMT do that. Apply for internships in firms where you can work on something related to business/consulting. The work you do as an intern might not always be research, but the experience will give you insights into the problems businesses face and the strategies they use, which can inform your future research. Participating in business plan competitions or hackathons can also provide practical exposure and enhance your understanding of the field. It's a form of applied research that will develop your skills in problem-solving and strategy development. I see a lot of people in NUST and LUMS doing that by participating in independent business plan competition. Start reading and summarizing articles from business and management journals. Try to critically evaluate the research methodology and findings. This exercise will help you learn how to write and review academic papers, and you can start building your understanding of your specific area of interest. Volunteer to work with professors on their research projects. Even if there isn't a formal research assistantship program, many professors will be open to having an extra pair of hands.

One thing pops in my mind is that which one the Professors will value more? Because all these years they became used to the old gre. Will it be a risk for the pioneers who will sit for the shorter one? Hope to get your view.

Sir, can you guide us on how to think out of the box for problem solving? I know that practicing questions is just one part but since the gre questions can't be predicted then how to be prepared to tackle quant questions?
Yes, the questions can't be precisely predicted. But the type of problems and the concepts they test are predictable to a large extent. Here are some tips that I advice to handle GRE Quant questions: Understand the basics: Make sure you are clear on the fundamentals of algebra, geometry, data analysis, and arithmetic. These are the four main areas tested on the GRE Quant section. Solve practice questions: There are various ETS GRE prep questions. Practice these diligently while focusing on the underlying concepts. Learn different strategies: Some questions are best solved using algebra, others are better with number properties or estimation. Familiarize yourself with these different approaches. Analyze your mistakes: When you get a question wrong, don't just look at the solution. Try to understand why you made the mistake and how you can avoid it in the future.
