Hey I am EnvScience student from India, It would be great if i could get your study materials, kindly plz tell if there is an oppurtunity we will talk later
Thank you for making these videos. They're great! I'm not watching them for exam prep like most people but rather for awareness on the topic and they're very useful.
Nomady 402 Uhh well firstly this UA-camr is really good for studying and you want to make sure you know each unit well, it can be hard because you may forget certain units as you get later into the year so try your best to memorize, one good method is to make study guides for each test so at the end of the year you have study guides for the whole year basically.
Just a thought on matter being a closed system. The recent asteroid explosion over Russia brought matter from outer space. Also google space dust accumulation to see how much space dust hits us. I know it may be minuscule and I just heard you say generally. Just and interesting thought. I love the videos and they have been a great help.
Nice video, thank you! Short and sweet. P.S. This should be linked on Trumps twitter page. As we all know he doens't really understand global warming and likes short visual presentations ;).
Thank you so much for your great classes. I am watching your videos just for the fun of learning and I cannot but keep watching them all. Very clear, well illustrated and with a normal speech rate so we can understand and think about your questions. Merci!
Give us some input in the comments Mr Anderson.) The Aral lake is a disaster. A big functional lake with fish turned into a desert. The politicians did not understand that the lake had to be refilled if the irrigate it. Don't they have scientists in Russia? What were they thinking? They did not watch this series. Translate this into russian in order to save earths water reservoirs. Who was the smart-head btw, Nikita Chrustjov, Leonide Brezniev?
Welp... I got a 3 on the practice test, review everything maybe a 4, but I can still pass with a 3 so I'm fine. Just worried about setting up those math problems. AP Exam here I come
Excellent Info! My Professor speaks English as a second language so your videos are extremely beneficial for me to review. It really fills in the gaps of things I miss during class. I wish your videos were 20-30 minutes.
What's that song at the end? I watched your videos when I was going through APES in 2015. That little audio clip brings me such nostalgia, I'd love to know
There is no way to stop vapor. When you heat water it inevitably converts into a greenhouse gas (vapor) so we either have to halt the heating of the earth (obvious) or somehow cool the water... However, cooling the water would be a desperate move because we need to be careful about marine life. That's another "system" we have to be careful about modifying.
One thing ive always wondered, if energy can not be created nor destroyed… why do some scientists think that in billions of years from now when all the stars have died that the world will be silent, empty, dead, desolate with no light from stars or noise or anything… whered the energy go bro?
4:06 the Potassium and Oxygen are pretty much the Same color, so I cannot see the Potassium levels in the graph. 🙀😬🤓 Since they touch... it’s a problem!
You are an incredible teacher . All your videos are amazing and so smooth . Anyone can understand it easily . You convey information in a very gentle polite and smooth way . And it’s to the point and easy to understand. I m glad you are putting so many videos on UA-cam .
Nice video. But one thing i want to know that "we lunch a rocket which carries tons of matter and like the same earth also receives a matter when comets enters into the earth". Then this cannot be said exchange of matter?
This is fascinating! Have you considered the long-term effects of space exploration and colonization? That is, will the Earth remain a closed system, or would you change the definition to an open system?
Super helpful! Thank you. I have two questions. 1 where does the heat go from earth if we are surrounded by a vacuum? And 2 how can we have a positive air pressure next to that vacuum?
AP TEST IN 12 HOURS TIME TO WATCH ALL 35 HERE WE GOOOOOO
+Itsmary_xo LOL SAME

Keep it up.

AP ? ITS ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE FOR ME HAHAHA
This series on "Environmental Science " is even still relevant in 2024.
Just a thought on matter being a closed system. The recent asteroid explosion over Russia brought matter from outer space. Also google space dust accumulation to see how much space dust hits us. I know it may be minuscule and I just heard you say generally. Just and interesting thought. I love the videos and they have been a great help.
Yup. Surprised he said this.
From Aral... to arid.
I hope everyone did well on their AP test!
Nice video, thank you! Short and sweet.
P.S. This should be linked on Trumps twitter page. As we all know he doens't really understand global warming and likes short visual presentations ;).
Anyone in college watching this for an environmental biology class?
Happy teacher's day Sir, your lessons encapsulate everything important and have helped me getting higher grades in college :)
AP Exam next week squad uppp!
Yesss same! Good luck
And to you!
Thank you so much for your great classes. I am watching your videos just for the fun of learning and I cannot but keep watching them all. Very clear, well illustrated and with a normal speech rate so we can understand and think about your questions. Merci!
Time to cram
2020 Corona test prep
wow I hate my tests
My girlfriend is an environmental science major and I'm learning this so I hopefully know what she is talking about

Same! What's up dawg?! :)
Omg so easy! #5bound
+Kayla Bouchard I KNOW!! I was so happy :) Bozeman really helped too!
+Christopher Anthony I had an amazing teacher also :)

I’m not taking the AP Test, but we have to take a mock one. NO WAY! We will see if I can do it, I don’t have that kind of memory. 😓😰😰
This is fascinating! Have you considered the long-term effects of space exploration and colonization? That is, will the Earth remain a closed system, or would you change the definition to an open system?
We don't get new matter from space, meteorites are fantasy? Just the energy from the sun is real, lol.
The only purpose of natural environmental systems is to support life but at balanced forces.
Super helpful! Thank you. I have two questions. 1 where does the heat go from earth if we are surrounded by a vacuum? And 2 how can we have a positive air pressure next to that vacuum?
Only here because of AP Environmental Science.
We get new metial from tree's shedding and everyone pooping and when we die we leave behind our bodies
waiting for someone to fail, then lie that they cheated to take everyone else's grade down
this guy is sick but you have to watch at 1.25 or he is WAY too slow
thanks i always thought plants added more mass. i see know that they were just useing earths ingredients that are already here.👍
10*
Does positive feedback loop also contribute to steady state?
We don't get new matter?According to Popular Sciences web site,60 tons of cosmic dust falls to earth every day...
This is true, but compared to the size of earth it is so little that it doesn't really effect natural processes
The way my jaw DROPPED at 0:38
this was so helpful for my ap class, it was way easier to follow & understand than how my teacher was describing this
exam in two hrs :)
Thanks for posting. These will be great outside help for my class
Yes, dear professor! That was helpful.
thank you for putting this up for free sir. Amazing!
I started this topic today in my ess class, and then u uploaded this vedio xD

What's an AP test? Is it American? I'm just watching these videos as pre reading for university
Abigail Robinson yeah it's American. it stands for Advanced Proficient.
Actually Advanced Placement lmao
Thanks
brand new to the channel and happy to be enjoying it greatly but can someone please explain what AP stands for?
It’s a bit late but it stands for Advanced Placement. That basically means it is a university level class.
@@DontCare100 thanks man different system here in Scotland
@@blebbleber4618 yeah np 😀
We get asteroids from space doesnt that count as matter?
we don't get many asteroids from space due to the atmospheric burn in.
So helpful, thank you
This guy is amazing at explaining things.
Pas mal..definition.
Biochimie.

7:45 what happened to my snow

Thank you!

Exam in one week. Let's go people.
Aren't asteroids matter entering from outside of earth? Open system? Sending artificial satellites out to space not sending off matter?
The Earth is NOT a closed system. We DO receive new matter in the form of roughly a few tons to a few hundred tons of space dust annually.
