I so love knowing they're still together all singing. So grateful to hear them especially Susan. Keep on singing and we'll keep on listening. Love you guys.
This has to be one of the most difficult pop songs ever to sing, but do you know who doesn't care? The mega-talent known as Susan Cowsill, that's who. Wow. A+.
I am stunned by this absolutely heart-breakingly wonderful performance by Susan. I was 11 years old when I saw the movie with my cousin, and immediately bought the 45 and played it till it almost warped. It's one of my all-time favorite songs and films. I had only heard the 3rd verse performed once before by the amazing Lulu, but Susan's vocals literally surpassed her on this occasion. The Cowsill family is just so unbelieveable in their ability to transport all of us who grew up with them, back to that most special time in our young lives. They have my respect and adoration forever...
It is in the movie. Actually, in the movie it is sung by Lulu about halfway through, I think when they are all in the museum (I would have to check that to be sure), and it is the second verse in the movie. I think there is one Lulu album (or it might be the movie soundtrack album) that has that verse on it. I think they should have put it in the original song on the 45 rpm record, etc. I'm glad she included it in this performance.
The great Susan Cowsill, was brilliant as a child and even better today.I have all of her solo albums and would recommend you pick them up, you will not be disappointed
In all honesty, I think this is just as good as Lulu's original studio version. And at first I thought this was because I've heard Lulu's version so many times that Susan's version is now more fresh and interesting. But the more I hear this, the more I think that isn't the reason. Susan is just an incredible singer and puts so much heart into this song.
Susan Cowsill has a very pretty voice and did awesome on this song ! She sang The River Round The Bend one time where she was singing about her late brother Barry who died in hurricane Katrina ! Love The Cowsills and subscribe to every channel that has them on the videos for sure !
I wonder that as well, and I always come up with, A.) she is more into her family, and B.) she is too normal and decent to play the nasty-@ssed Hollywood game.
The Cowsills never cease to amaze me.

Beautiful voice.
Incredible, always loved this band
Didn’t know Susan had that kinda chops. Wondering why she wasn’t featured more.
I wonder that as well, and I always come up with, A.) she is more into her family, and B.) she is too normal and decent to play the nasty-@ssed Hollywood game.
If by whatever chance her voice was the last one I heard, I'd be content.
I wish what you said on her remaining brothers. Sad the others passed so lonely.
She nailed it!
Respect, beautiful thank you
This was a hit in 1967 the same time they had the rain the park and other things
Her a capella version is also crystal clear!
