“My name is Giovanni Giorgio, but everybody calls me Giorgio.”
Amazing
click.
The synth solo just played in my head
*bizarre violin music starts playing*
That ruins the song tbh. It only works once.
With Background Music even this interview can be a Song like "Giorgio"
😂😂 LOL 😂😂
Someone named Astrophysics made a song with this audio called "Giorgio by Moroder"
I hear the faint guitar and slow tappings to the side of a drum as he speaks 😅 this man has a diegetic band whenever talking.
"THEY would know."
Kind of sums up like 70 percent of what D.P. did really.
Especially that album. They said in interviews they didn't care if it didn't sell well, it was the album they had wanted to do just for themselves
@@caliden the reason why I love them.
🐐🐐
All I know is that voice belongs to Giovani Giorgio.
But everybody calls him...
@@caueeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Giorgio
I love to just listen to him speak. He sounds warm and kind ❤
he sounds exactly like Arnold Schwarzenegger
He sounds like the kinda guy who definitely wanted to become a musician when he was 15, 16, when he really started to play guitar... But the dream being so big that he didn't see he had any chance because he was living in a little town. But then when he finally broke away from school, and became a musician, then he may have a little bit of a chance
Yes and also sounds like a guy that would like not only to play music but compose music. So basically at that time in Germany they already had discotheques, so he would take his car, go to a discotheque, sing... maybe 7/8 songs. He also sounds like one who was sleeping in his car and that's a thing that helped him survive in the beginning
He sounds like a guy who wants to do an album with the sounds of the 50s, the 60s, and the 70s, and then have a sound of the future. He sounds like he knows that synthesizer and that he should use the synthesizer which is the sound of the future. He sounds like he doesn't have any idea what to do but he needed a click so he put a click on the 24 track and synced it to the moog modular. He sounds like he knows that that could be the sound of the future, but he didn't realize how much impact it would be
He sounds like a guy whose name is Giovanni Giorgio, but everybody calls him... *Giorgio*
LMAO YOU ARE GOLD GUYS
This made me laugh lmao thank you
It is BARELY noticeable and literally makes no difference to the track if you don't know about it lol I love that it's a detail but it really doesn't effect the actual song
Yet the creators care and that's all that matters
If you're on vinyl or happened to have the hi-res version with the proper speakers... you can definitely tell the difference.. but not everyone has the proper equipment
@@bryanescalante2871 that's fair, i dont have RAM in my collection yet so i'll have to be on the lookout
This man is the god farther of disco
This is insane, what a way to soundtrack someone's life. I have to find this song/album now lol.
On the Random Access Memories album. Georgio by Marauder
"who would ever know the difference?"
"nobody"
this interaction alone is perhaps more deep than 90% of the philosophers i've read
When you listen to the track on good speakers or headphones, you can actually hear the difference between the microphone. Subtle, but audible.
And then he put the click
If Arnold's life went another way.
Moroder's accent is on another level, like Arnie's level, so out there, living legends...
I feel he sounds more like Werner Herzog than like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The part of Italy that Moroder comes from used to belong to the same coutry that Arnies area of origin is from. Thus the same dialect. Their "german" is very similar too
@@bortsimons7457 kind of? hes also Ladin, which is its own thing, neither italian nor austrian. IDK if his first language was ladin or not. but most likely.
@@bortsimons7457moroder speak ladin that is another languages also live a lot i Germany
I was lucky enough to grow up son of a dude that worked sound for a local band. It wasnMt just those two that could hear the vocal tone shift
They did it for you too then
And this is why some people go above and beyond.
I'm a digital artist and think always the same thing withe my arts! I put a lot of details into my art that many people won't notice, but I do know every detail, and that's what it matters in the end! You have self-recognition of your art!
This is actually how they recorded the lyrics for Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
In a wierd way that sums up "true" artists, they go 100% all the time! Its just good/normal practice! Steve Jobs made the circuit boards estheticly pleasing for the same non-reason, artists paint things that will never be seen ect ect
Like analog synths vs digital. I love an analog synth, but 99.9% of people of people don't even know what the difference is, and of the 0.1% left, only 0.01% give a fuck.
The Godfather of Dance Music
The difference between that has kept me coming back for more for years and years to that song and to that sample in particular. It has inspired me to go and do when little else has given me the drive to do so.
The song he is talking about is on their last album ‘Random access memories “ and I believe this actual sound bite is on the beginning of the song ‘Giorgio’ The entire album is 👍🏼
The track title is Giorgio By Moroder on the album Random Access Memories
Your profile picture ruins it all.
He has a German accent lol
He’s from a region in Italy where they speak German so it actually does make sense
More Austrian than German. Northern Italy / Dolomites is more influenced by Austrian German.
@@adrienguyot6921 That makes no sense, austrians are Germans. They speak bavarian dialects btw, which are obviously german.
@@abeedhal6519 whoa there Adolf don't go doing an Anschluss on us
@@SilverCyan whoa there adolf, don't go doing occupy austrian land after ww1... oh wait
And then, history was made.
The Initiator
Those guys are very good at what they do. They have written and performed some of my favorite songs. Most definitely in my all time favorite 100. Lol. Very diverse list btw. 😂
Geniuses
Artists being peculiar? In other news, water exists.
🦧
Fucken A. So Dope 🎼
Well you could put it this way : if you go this distance to do something that nobody will notice, imagine the quality of the stuff that peiple will actually notice. Says a lot about the generosity and dedication of this duo
That’s when you really create something out of passion doing things like that proves my point.
Man the interviews voice sounds so familiar… I can’t pinpoint from where.
he never talked about Italy or the 50's in the song 😢
I love this song so much! It hits different, and even more now with thus information!
In art it is so often the thing that the spectator doesn't notice that in fact informs their appreciation of any given piece of work.
This interview is also can be made into track if Daft Punk want to
Why does he sound like Arnold S... get to the chopper!
it has a sacred meaning but not a technical one. It must have been important to DP
My favourite DP track ❤
That album should be displayed at Louvre
One of the few true pop masters at his craft.
this video could make pt.2
No wayyyyy
Father of EdBanger

I absolutely loved his story here and on the album. Wonderful❤

veramente (non il modello) ma differenza di registrazione si sente. O almeno io me ne ero accorto.
That's so cool... "Those two guys"
Amazing. Giorgio is a Genius! 3 Oscar and 4 Golden Globe
That voice gives me chills now ❤❤❤❤
❤
Why does he sound like Arnie
Thats Arnold
What two guys?
Sounds like Arnie

Wow 👁️👄👁️
🤯
Imagine being invited to work on a song with two bigtime musical prodigies, and they just want to put your life story onto a song.
Fantastic.
