This is really well made, it combines his themes from X2, then to X4. with a brief nod to the start of his theme from X1 @ 0:47 . It took me a bit to notice, but I really thought it was clever. Love it!
God awful half baked X.. worst representation, his moves are total ass. It's as if the developers never played a MegaMan X game before. Check out Pizzahighfive's MvC2 MegaMan X

If they ever chose to record in Toronto again (probably never), I'd've gone with Lyon Smith, who can pull off a voice that's a nice middle ground between Gatha and Sroka.
This is actually REALLY GOOD! I always wanted to see x in a vs game, have him use a super meter to switch between various armors akin to how ryu can switch styles in marvel vs capcom 1.. and each suit has a few attacks from its respective game..
It's funny to think I brought this song up about a week ago... not being satisfied with Marvel vs. Capcom unless they put in Mega Man X and this theme in it. And now Infinite has come and he's a poster boy for it. Finally.
I think the ambition paid off for the most part, though! Honestly this track's a bit shorter than it really should be (for a character theme) and it was made with a very mixed up set of instruments at the same time. If you're a fan of these kinds of mixings, you should check out my variation of Zero's theme and also the non-MvC combination of Zero's X3-X4 themes.
I have heard the theme, especially his MvC1 what if theme. I like it a lot, though if I may say, I was hoping to hear Zero's X3-X4 theme mixed in at some point. Personally I felt the Maverick Hunter HQ theme was more X's theme than Zero's. That's only my opinion of course.

Mega Man X2's intro stage theme is my favorite intro stage theme in the series and this is my favorite rendition of it.
