Then, from all my mistakes when making my very first string instrument, I figured I need a LOT of help. And better tools. And I can't make a cello in my kitchen.
My very kind friend Pelle** helped me and we made the cello (well, he did most of the making, I mainly designed the thing).
I got guitar tuners 2nd hand, and some cheap cello strings from Amazon. My kid sister gave me some used violin bows for Xmas years ago.

I was surprised as to how much like a cello just two strings and no "box" sounds like. The sound is just picked up by a piezo mike clipped on the bridge into the EHX-95000 looper pedal. I guess it might be sympathetic resonance. en.wikipedia.o...

The wood was left over from Joakim's art-project Arboretur (word-play, arbo (tree), retur (recycling)).
