Caddo Lake: What to do when you can't get a bite!

Jody and Danny Ray have launched on the Texas side of Caddo Lake and are searching for spawning Bass. It is an eventful day of fishing, but it starts as slow as molasses. A little after mid-morning, the bites begin, which is when it gets worse because of no hook-ups. Danny is about at his wit’s end, and that’s when Jody makes the “move of the day.” His “move of the day” flipped the whole atmosphere. It is when everything began to fall into place. At this point, Danny Ray’s frustration slipped away, and that is when he started catching Bass after Bass. By the end of the day, Danny Ray’s demeanor has changed dramatically, and he admits that without Jody’s “move of the day,” it may have ended badly.
