Ben Portsmouth does not fail to to give us 100% of pure Elvis when he is on the stage.What an exceptional entertainer he is. I recorded this at the Event Centre in Rotorua, New Zealand on March 1st 2014
It IRRITATES me so bad when people video someone and then laugh & talk through the WHOLE video. Now with that being said GREAT job Ben:)
Unfortunately that comes with recording something in a public area. You can't control what people are saying. I just listened to this again....and no one is talking through the WHOLE video!

Ben! has Elvis!' actual moves. And vocals too then there's the voice - you have got the growly 68 comeback voice down pat. I could close my eyes on most songs and not distinguish you from Elvis!. He also nail his sense of humor and his ability to laugh at himself. And you included just enough comments to indicate that you knew you aren't actually Elvis! Plus the final 'God bless Elvis!' this tribute was also very touching as it reflected the entire audience's thoughts. Anyway, well done and thnz again. I now feel like I've seen Elvis! in person for the second time.

Well, looking back, this was definitely Mr. Portsmouth's year. He deserved the win for sure.
I see Ben! as himself, he just shines through to his soul when he performs..I love the whole Elvis! thing as he is Great at it, but the really neat thing is his own Personality as it blends and you get the best of both worlds..He has the Charisma Elvis! had where you feel like he feels what the fans want and need..not sure that makes sense, LOL but that is my take...

this guy a great 70 s Elvis. Cody Ray Slaughter a great 50 s Elvis. good luck to the both of these great men that's keeping Elvis memory alive. I believe Elvis would admire these guy so much like him.
I went to a show in Ottawa Canada last year, where Cody did Elvis's early years and 68 come back and Ben did the Vegas years with the Sweet Inspirations backing him. Was a show to remember xxx

I think Ben is not real Elvis and real Elvis is the one who dead and I trust Shawn klush and he was mostly alive and how Elvis death most being somewhere else I can't tell you this and Shawn is really good at perform there I think Shawn is actually was and well I see Shawn was smile and his heart is going somewhere and he loves to see his own fans.
I believe in God actually with Shawn and he is our king and Elvis always said that to Shawn and he is truth feels better king now and why they call him a king that is not how they want him for the best ever close with real Elvis Presley actually it's true and Shawn say Elvis dead really young age and that's how Shawn feels about his idol and he start to crying and Shawn didn't know himself and I was so painful of Shawn life and I know people feel for him as good as Elvis Presley and he is our number one Elvis Presley enterprise and he is not with nobody cares about his true surgery and it's scary to everyone to see if you didn't want to see and it's about Shawn klush his own family and his friends or maybe his life.

yes mega it's hard getting that powerful audio when it's a live performance it's not your fault as I listen to hundreds of artistes on utube I find the sound is lacking in many cases but it's but it's how they set equipment up what I find helps to achieve this is too speakers for the audio as near to the camera as possible and too speakers for the music as much echo as you can get for clarity of sound for online listening very hard to get that great sound when they are live but these great performers deserve nothing better hope you understand the jocky

Agreed, he's the very essence of Elvis Presley... somehow, on top of his super talent, he's captured Elvis' nuances, mannerisms, and the same charisma i've never seen in any other ETA. Ben is number 1, in the ABSENCE of Elvis himself.

@@freddie5475 Bill Cherry is great, he's got a lot of Elvis' mannerisms down and a great voice; however, aesthetically he's too short and his fingers (yes, fingers) AND hands are too small .. fingers too short... he's just not tall enough, the appearance plays a big part in tricking the mind to some extent, that we've viewing and hearing, Elvis Presley
Ben Portsmouth and Pete Storm, are the right size and my goodness, Ben's voice is at times identical to Elvis'; as is his range and they have these traits and all the nuances and mannerisms down to a 'T"...("they", meaning, Ben and Pete)

Ben is good, great in fact at unchained melody, you've lost that loving feeling etc. But the true Elvis classics his voice is way off. Looks wise he's good, more a 60s Elvis than a 70s. Bill Cherry is thee 70s Elvis. Sadly I never seen Elvis but I have been a lifelong fan. Listen to hurt, it's easy for you, something, always on my mind. Bills Voice is the Kings. I've seen Ben Portsmouth and Bill Cherry. Clear golden tones belongs to Bill. The closest reproduction of an Elvis track is Jake Rowley, are you lonesome tonight.
