I've waited a long time for somebody to build a chassis for the 350 Legend. One other vendor offered the chassis but has yet to produce any for sale. Thank you for going forward with your project. I have 2 chassis en route for installation on the Ruger American 350 Legend. I usually run the standard stocks with Bradley's cheek rests, which are superb units. This year I decided it was time to take a nice 10 pt with a Henry Case Hardened Octagonal lever action in .44 mag. Smoked him with Hornady Custom 240g. XTP. Update - the Ruger American Predator fits the Heatseeker Chassis perfectly in the 350 Legend configuration. I discovered the Ruger chassis had started to make contact with the barrel and rubbed the underside of the barrel. Fortunately, little issue was found in the existing accuracy. The Heatseeker chassis makes great accuracy a simple task. I coupled the first build with an MDT SCS Carbine stock, Anarchy Outdoors see-thru grip, and Magpul Type 2 MLok slot insulators. The gun sports Arken 5-25X56 optics with Butler Creek Extreme Covers. The Ruger American Ranch 350 Legend will have the same parts except use a Primary Arms 3-18 Grid 2B scope. BTW, both guns have a Timney trigger group - awesome!
whoa whoa whoa.... you now make this for AR-15 mag calibers?!?!?! Congrats.... and saw you now have the left handed versions too! Woot woot! The first one we did in 6.5 Grendel which is being converted to 6mm ARC is just using the regular chassis and AICS compatible magazines.
If you ever have a scratched and blemished one I know a budget hunter in Canada with that exact rifle lol!! Very nice this is the first time I've heard someone making them your video was In my suggested feed
I bought this for my 450 Bushmaster and love it very light also. I have a 300 Blackout also but I put it in a MDT Oryx its nice to but way heavier wish I had seen these Sharps prior cause I definitely would’ve put it in the heatseaker also.
Small issue with mine. The chassis does not support the bolt stop pin. I had to find a longer pin to fix this issue. Otherwise the pin will fall out just enough for the bolt to just pull out of the receiver. 😮 Did I miss or forget an included part?
Any way I could get a measurement of how much of the barrel goes beyond the rail? And the rail internal diameter? I've got the 5.56 version with an old Surefire FA556AR suppressor. I need about 2.15" of clearance before my suppressor might hit the rail, depending on the ID.
Is there a reason you decided to use the factory magazines in the long action model as opposed to AICS long action magazines? I feel like maybe that's a missed opportunity or do you have other reasoning behind that?
You guys absolutely knocked it out of the park with these stocks. Well done!

Did you build a 350 with it? I am wanting to get one for my 350
Yes, built two . See build above.

You make it seem easy.
That's a nice build
Nice Armorers Bench
Awesome as usual man!

Could I talk to you about your 450 in this chassis? I wanna see how you finished it out. I plan on ordering one soon
@@blakecrawford6291 let me see if I can paste what I used onto here
@@lancelamoon6743 sounds good. I was thinking about a foldable picatinny mount stick for my build. Instead of the buffer tube
@@blakecrawford6291 I just used a buffer tube. Can’t figure out how to load it on here.
That looks like a California legal AK-47 there at the end. =P

Would my Ruger Predator work also? It’s 223 and takes AR Mags.
Thats awesome
Need a link for that barrel vice tool 👀
I need this 👀

How does it work with the 7.62x39 mags? You need the AR mags now and the mini 30 won’t work anymore?
Will this accept the AR style folder like a law?
Do y’all make a unit the plays nicely with mini30 mags so I don’t have to replace all my mags
Is this going to work for the new gen 2?
So this will work for the Ruger American 7mm-08 correct?
Just ordered one for a 6.5 grendel build, what scope height do I need for a 50mm objective lens to clear the hand guard.
This would be perfect with a Dissident Arms adjustable stock.
Any distribution in Australia 🇦🇺? Wouldn't mine one on my 450 bushmaster
Hey mate in aus too, you can order them from America. Havnt found anyone who brings them over
will it work for the ruger american in 223?
Yep.
what lenght of Arca rail will fit with this?
Will this chassis take the standard ruger amrican 5rd mags
No, converts to AR mags, and if your caliber is larger than .308 it’ll be the other chassis for aics mags
What mags are needed for the 7.62x39 model?
Would like to know as well!
@@caseygreb2062 Cproducts defense, elander, magpul 556 10 rounder with 7 rounds in it all work 100%
Are those inch pounds or foot pounds?
I came here for this question
inch pounds, ruger says 60 to 80 inlbs
55 pounds??
Would my Ruger Predator work also? It’s 223 and takes AR Mags.
