    I love the round table. Great placement of the roses toward edge. Most people display decor in the center of the table.

    I like both end tables. ❤ when I first saw the second wood table. I thought oh I hope she leaves it a natural wood and doesn’t just paint it. You did and made it look beautiful. ❤

      Thank you! I was definitely hoping to keep that second one as natural as possible. Thankfully it finally cooperated with me 🤣

    Loved the shape of the 2nd table. Natural is normally my favorite too but I think it would have looked amazing with a dark stain, which usually I don't like funnily enough. I loved your previous 2 vids and I subscribed, but mainly for your humble and honest personality..

      Thank you! I appreciate you supporting my channel! I had thought about a stain on it too but left as is. Maybe if it doesn't sell in my booth I'll add a dark stain ☺️

    I love the way both of your projects turned out. At first I thought adding transfers to the round table wasn't going to be a good idea. But you totally proved me wrong. The rectangular table was my fave, though. And thanks for sharing your booth reset & sale info. I live just south of Melbourne & am very interested in coming to check out your booth IRL- especially if there's a sale. -Sarah

    On the second table I would not have sprayed shellac on the raw over the raw wood before trying the paint wash. I know you want to stop the bleed-through but instead I would have sanded, Sprayed a ton of water over the whole piece to raise the grain therefore allowing the paint wash to grab a bit more in the raised grain, used a slightly more mid tone wash over the piece, give a gentle 250 grit sand and Then use the shellac. From there you can apply a second or third coat of your paint wash. It's a lot of work that way but so much easier the adjust the the tone of you of your wood and getting it the way you invision it the first time.

      @WoodWineandCrafts  5 місяців тому

      Thank you Annie for those tips! I did not realize the shellac would have affected the wash like that. I will try these tips on another piece 🤍

    Love, love love the rose table! It came out so beautifully! I was wondering if it is worth having a booth? I have been tempted several times but the booth rental has always been daunting compared to what I MIGHT sell. I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

    • @WoodWineandCrafts
      @WoodWineandCrafts  5 місяців тому

      Thank you Theresa! Having a booth is a lot of fun but also a lot of work. It can seem daunting with the booth rent at times. If the store you're interested in has different size booths, maybe start on the smaller side and see how that goes - you can always get a bigger space! Definitely worth a try and have fun with it ☺️

    The red marks are actually just the type of wood that was used...I forget the name but you can look it up and it's very rare
