It all depends on what you’re into and the size of your family. South Padre is not an expense place to visit. How I plan for our trips is: I decide how much I want to spend per person on any given excursions and stay within that budget and splurge on 1 thing which was the Sling car rental. Everywhere used card so you don’t need to walk with cash 😉
If being surrounded by MAGA supporters bothers you, avoid Lobo del Mar. Longboards is right across from lobo del Mar and welcomes everyone with good food and live music everyday.
