bismillah, how to find guidance (note)
1) du'aa for guidance
2)djihad against your nafs
3)tawakkul by trusting Allah in what you left for him and thinking if Allah says it it is
4)turn back to Allah whenever you fall and you will fall
5)know that tawfikh comes from Allah this will make you humble and not belittle others
6)don't understimate any path of misguidance or guidance
don't hang out with the wrong crowd
always a pleasure attending and taking lessons and notes from this great brother
The du'a," Ya Muqallibal quloob thabbit qalbi 'alaa deenik"

29:69 - And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allāh is with the doers of good.

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from reprehensible conduct,
deeds and desires.
Guidance is the greatest blessing Allah can give to his servant. Alhamdullilah for the deen of Allah. I will continue to ask Allah to guide me and do my part to remain on the straight path. May Allah bless this brother for sharing his knowledge and helping us to remain steadfast.

Shahr ibn Hawshab reported: I asked Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her):
"O Mother of the Believers, what was the supplication that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to say most frequently when he was with you?" She said: "The supplication he said most frequently was: 'O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion!'"

1. Fetrah (Built in to want to know Allah)
2. Revelation (aligns with fetrah)
3. Tawfeeq - Only Allah gives you this after you do jihad against your Nafs
Allah's guidance is not free. Allah's guidance is there, but will we sweat to get it?!
