Awesome video as usual. I love the teepee permanent shelter. Freja is learning so well and is a beautiful dog. Looking forward to part 2 , Robin and finishing the permanent shelter. That’s pretty cool that the scout troop sent you the hat. That was so nice of them. Anyway, you too have a good week coming. Stay safe my friend and Gods blessings to you.
Thank you brother! That's great, and yes indeed, she is so beautiful 👍 I'm happy to hear that, the shelter turned out great and it's huge. 😁 Yeah that was nice of them, they are very nice people. Have an awesome week as well, be well and God bless you! Take care 🌷
Hey Adam, really like the new video. That is a good size shelter and as you said, you will need it for you Robin, Emma, and all the dogs. Freja is the sweetest thing alive. She seems so sweet, good job! Have a wonderful week and of course, can't wait to see what happens next week.
Hello Sherry! Hehe yes indeed, it is huge😁 Me, Robin and 3 dogs slept very good in it and we had room to spare 👍 She is the perfect dog and we love her so much 😊 Have a wonderful week you too and I will upload part 2 this sunday and I really hope that you enjoy it 😁👍 Be well.
I like your video. Such a nice serenity location for a teepee. I look forward to part 2. I am a subscriber to The Last Boy Scouts and they do have great footage, tips and info.
Thank you, I'm happy to hear that! Yes indeed, they are awesome 👍 Have a great week my friend and see you next week when part 2 is uploaded. I hope you enjoy that one as well. Be safe.
In this series, we will build a permanent bushcraft basecamp starting with the shelter. The shelter is a mix between a Teepee, a Wickiup and a Swedish Kåta with my own touch on it. It is located in Western Värmland in Sweden on a friend's land in the middle of the woods. We have loads of plans for this bushcraft basecamp in the future. The shelter will get a door and raised beds, we will build an outdoor kitchen for Robin's cooking, we might plant some edibles outside of the shelter and much more. I hope that you will enjoy this video, thank you so much for watching and have an awesome week!
The shelter is coming on amazing, going to be awesome to stay in ,come autumn/winter months, really enjoying your videos, good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig
Thank you my friend. I'm very happy that you liked it 😁 Yes indeed, this shelter is going to give us loads of awesome nights this autumn/ winter 👍 Have an awesome week and take care.
Great video as always! Love seen you out there with Frejia. Thank you so much for the shout out. I will have to check on the shoulder patch. I sent it weeks ago and am surprised it hasn’t arrived. Your support means a ton to us. Keep up the great work and we will definitely see you in the woods some time.
Thank you Brother! No problem, my pleasure. You guys are awesome! Hehe no worries, it will get here when it does. Same to you, that's what friends are for! 😁 Thats awesome! I saw you uploaded a new video, I'll have a look at it before I got to bed! 👍
Had to watch this in two parts because I had to go to work. It was nice to watch the rest of it with a hot cuppa. The teepee looks awesome so far and I can't wait to see it finished. 😃
Yeah that sounds nice! I'm happy that you liked it so far and I hope that you like the next episode as well 😁👍 I will upload it on sunday. Thank you my friend!
Great vid . I enjoy you choice of landscape . The dog is beautiful and well disciplined . Have you considered an oiled canvas for the covering ? Thanks for sharing your adventure . Be safe.
Thank you man! Honestly she is more disciplined out in the forest than at home. An oiled canvas really is a great way to ensure a watertight finish. This time we are going to keep the shelter all natural but I might be using some tarp or oiled canvas for some other builds in this base camp. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Stay safe! 👊
Dude! Good lookin out 🙏🏼🍻 We appreciate such awesome shout out - thank for your support brother 🤜🏼🤛🏼 As always, your vid was chalk full of great content. Tee pees / wiki’s are some of my favorite shelters - and that spot you selected looks perfect. My boys enjoyed watching Freya frolic around you and attack the lumber 😂 Til the next one! Keep your ears peeled on our recently released vid on Survival Mindset 😎🍻
My pleasure Essay! 😁👍 I watched your latest video as well, it was great and many thanks for your shout out and kind words. Thank you and I'm happy to hear that! 😁 I'm very happy that your boys enjoyed it, that's awesome! 👍 Best wishes to you and your boys! Take care and stay safe 💪🇸🇪
I am always envious of my Northern Hemisphere bush crafters. It's not so easy to find straight wood in Australia. Certainly not where I am anyway. The only pine forests around here are plantations and eucalypts don't grow a lot of straight branches. 😕
Awesome start to the shelter, excited for part 2. What sort of pants do you wear out there? My old combat pants are at their last leg and those look really nice!
Thank you mate! That's great to hear. The brand is "trekmates" and I got them from Robin. Both him and Emma think that I don't buy enought clothes and they probably given me 80% of my wardrobe. Anyway, I'm really happy with them, they are durable and I've had them for well over a year now. I would recommend them for sure and I believe that they are very affordable. 👍
Any tree would work, they don't have to be perfectly straight. As for the roof there are many materials you could use, like bark from trees, tarps, clay, spruce branches and so on.
It would be nice if more and more extreme weather campers would learn how to build a teepee. It just makes sense to have the fire INSIDE the structure. You would be much warmer while using less firewood. Just sayin'
I built a teepee like this this weekend. Didn't made the roof yet since i cannot decide how to do it. How good the moss keeps the shelter waterproof and how long will the roof last if i may ask? Thanks!
Very nice shelter. During the winter you're going to be very well indoors with a little fire 👌🔥
Thank you Athos! Yes indeed, it's going to be soo cozy 😁👍
The one tent that was invented around the fire 🔥
The TeePee
great video. Beautiful Dog. I find your english is really good and easy to understand
Thank you Crypto. Yes indeed, she is a keeper 😁 That's great, I'm very happy to hear that my friend.
I’m gonna build this right now. Thank you for the quick and easy video, straight and to the point !
Thats great, good luck my friend 🌲😊

Fantastic shelter! Very cozy.
Thank you Jeff 😁 Yes indeed!
Nice...👍.
Thank you Barney 👍😁

I see, yeah that would make it more difficult to build something like this with no straight sticks. Hehe no they don't. 😕
You could use the flat stones to make an oven
Yes that might be a future use for the stones.
Awesome start to the shelter, excited for part 2. What sort of pants do you wear out there? My old combat pants are at their last leg and those look really nice!

Hay I’m going to build something like this but i don’t have trees like pine or spruce and I don’t have hardly any moss what could I use?
Any tree would work, they don't have to be perfectly straight. As for the roof there are many materials you could use, like bark from trees, tarps, clay, spruce branches and so on.
@@TSMAdventures ok I’ll do bark. Thank you

Good ish vid but a lot of cuts on here so missing out on a lot of visual info in my humble opinion but am guessing it’s done that way for a reason.
