Dinosaur Trail Part 1 - Hughenden

We start our trek on the Dinosaur Trail. On the way we stop at one of the best hidden secrets in Queensland.... Porcupine Gorge. We stay a night at the Pyramid Campground and trek down to the gorge to swim in Galah Creek in front of the spectacular Pyramid. We all agree this was the best 24 hours of the trip! The campground was just epic and the experience in the gorge was like no other.
After Porcupine we head to Hughenden and experience the first stop on the trail - the land-based fossils including the famous Muttaburrasaurus at the Flinders Discovery Centre. We stay at Hughenden Showground and take some time to relax in Hughenden Lake.
