At the start of the Russian invasion, the US wanted Pakistan to condemn Russia but Khan spoke out publicly and said that Pakistan was not a slave country and would not be told what to do. He was more focused on the Pakistani economy and trying to buy cheap Russian oil, so America put a stop to it. Personally, I think he stood for peace in Pakistan and had his country's best interests at heart.
