The ETH validator exit queue is currently zero. The entry queue is 248. Not sure what validators you're referring to.

I think BlackRock wants to take over the validators. If they control the staking nodes then they can control the network and get all of the staking rewards.

Ah, so this is good. I've been somewhat disappointed in my ETH staking by proxy (mostly Lido and a bit with Nexo) as it fell way below my expected 5-7% but there's no way I'm selling any Ether prior to the blow-off top.

The whole point of DCA is keep buying at the rate you set yourself, regardless of price. Whether you take profit in a lump when you're happy with the gain, or DCA back out is probably more important to know from an experienced crypto investor.

I’m not an ETH fan. I was before I understood the difference between POS & POW, and focused my attention on other projects. I still have some ETH in my bag, but likely swap it for another project shortly. Staking? Not very knowledgeable on the subject so, nothing to contribute there.

Right now there are 882507 validators ... the peak was on Nov 20 with 885819 validators. There was a slight dip on Nov 28 with 879518 validators. So what is she talking about ? And you should do your own research, as Heidi always points out !

@@CryptoTips Hi, thank you for asking. I did do a little research, looking at the Staked supply of Ethereum and Validator Queues for the last 30/90/365 day periods. The staked supply of Ethereum has risen from October (26.5 mil) to November (28 Mil Eth). Beaconchain says Active validators in Oct of this year was 835k. That has increased to 882k validators in December. The title implies a drastic negative change in Validators, but unless I don't understand the premise, I don't see that from Beaconchain. I guess the answer to the title question is, "They are not." This all being said, I do value Crypto Tips efforts to educate the community. Hope I didn't offend. If so sorry.
I found an X post from Glasnode that says that there is an increase in the number of voluntary validator exits. But the volume of new validators is larger, thus accounting for the overall increase in Validators during this period. Is this increase what the topic of the video is discussing? I would concede this increase of validator exits, but not call it an Abandonment of the Network.

I'd never stake ETH. NOt your keys not your coins. It can get slashed and you can lose a lot. Ask Vitalek why he doesn't stake his ETH:)) Stake ADA and be safe. Your keys are your coins.
You can run your own node to stake your ETH if you have 32, with full custody. Also slashing is a risk for ADA as well, it's a common (and neccessary) mechanism for and PoS network to incentivise reliable, honest validators.
COMPLETELY NOT TRUE. YOUR coins ADA can never be slashed or LOST!!!!!!! You may not earn tokens for that block but your ADA is never lost or locked up. PLEASE READ UP. @@CryptoTips
So what prevents ADA stakers from misbehaving? I know ADA has no lock up period, never claimed otherwise.
Staking your ADA is a passive form of voting for who you want to validate the blockchain. The only power you have as a staker is to back a Stake Pool operator that you like. If your stake pool screws up you don't get your ADA that was suppose to be earned over the past 5 days. At anytime you can decide to keep staking with that pool or move to one that you feel is better for the ecosystem@@CryptoTips
That's very similar to ETH staking. If you stake with Rocketpool even if the staking operation you delegate to gets slashed (which is an extremely rare occurance) you don't lose anything byt the staking operator does.
Because Ethereum can't scale and it can't compete with the new generation of crypto networks. The upcoming DAGs will topple blockchains within the next 2-3 years.

ETH is old tech. There are superior, low-cost, efficient, and scalable alternatives available in the crypto market (like Solana, Hedera, Cosmos, Cardano, etc.) that are very lucrative for validators and have a future when it comes to enterprise utility. Ethereum has no real future outside of an insular DeFi ecosystem.
Don't make me laugh. Ethereum is the newest best tech or if not working towards it. There is no coincidence that it has the most developers. Fantastic developers in fact.
