I had a silver blue one in 1965.Unfortunately I got drafted also.Three months old.Since my father co-signed the loan for me, I begged him to carry the payments till I could make the 120 dollar a month payments on it.He sold it for a Cadillac. I never spoke to him again.I'm 78 and have always loved this car.Yours is something special.
Beautiful car, lovely countryside. My 65 healey came from San Francisco, one owner, 29K miles but needing total cosmetic restoration. They are fabulous cars in so many respects. Just two tiny points without in any way being critical. The filler tube in the boot has a black cardboard cover over it and the wing joints below the headlights should have grey plastic piping in the seem. All easy to do. You are a lucky guy. David U.K.

This masterpiece is well designed, well engineered. Even in today’s standards, it’s still ahead of its time.

As a kid, Austin-Healey 3000 was my favorite dream car. Along with the E-Type, and the Marcos 1600 I saw in a book, but AH dearest to heart
