I collected my 57 Monday st yesterday. First thing I did was this! I painted the plates Matt black and varnished them Matt. They are not visible. Shouldn't rust either. Another mod you should do a video on is the foot well lighting. The holders are already there just need to get the led bulbs off fleebay! Saw one video on UA-cam about it.... There is a holder directly over the clutch pedal (you have to get right down on the floor to see it) and one on the passenger side. :-)
Captain Tycho Great! Yeah the footwell lights are a nice simple mod. A few people online sell led strips which plug into the bulb connector. Nice little mod! 😀
I'm hopefully picking my ST-2 up tomorrow, had no idea this would be an option? Are there literally just points waiting for footwell lights on all these models? Because if so there will be LED strips going in to mine!
Guys, please, I've done this twice, so much easier than this process. Just screw the long thread onto the bar and nut but only a mm or so, leaving it loose and floppy. Then get a pair of long nosed pliars and slide the bar into the grill and hold it in place. With the other hand just screw the S onto the thread. Easy. No need for taking anything off or any of that nonsence. Not a single nut or cover needs to come off. 30 second job. Done it twice with 2 of my fiestas.

If you know any trick, we could write to each other by mail and you explain a little better? Or send me a video to learn how to do it? I would like to be able to install it by myself without anyone's help, I'm 24 years old and I have no idea about cars haha you would do me a big favour. Greetings from Spain!
I fitted one of these yesterday. I took only one of the rear brackets and drilled two holes in it and put it on horizontal over the two studs and it's barely visible.
good channel bro, im thinking of getting an ST but im not to sure as it eats petrol and im only a student, do you think its worth getting? whats your take on the amount of petrol your putting in?
Because some people who previously owned them debadged them and also buying new you can request them to be debadge upon buying them its the only reasonable answer i can think of
