I admire you two for your brave sacrifice in watching and reviewing this film. You two deserve medals. I appreciate the honesty in this review because I myself was wondering who could have enjoyed this film, every second of it. Now rest up our brave heroes!
l must confess guys/gals to being the person behind this film request. Purley for jokes to get back at Gary for dissing Happy Gilmore. Looks like this has left psychological scars on Gary that may never be healed. Iain looked like he had a breakdown. Comedy gold, hilarious. Big thanks to Gary and Iain for being brave and tackling this head on. Maybe both you guys appreciate Slashers a bit more now, lol ;)

This was one of the funniest reviews you guys have ever done! Omg!! LMAO!!! Gary's facial expressions, or lack thereof, and being on mute for the majority of the review, and Iain's rage was chef's kiss.

I only happened upon Off the Shelf Reviews 2 months ago. I am going full caps lock just to say " HOW THE FUCK HAVE I MISSED YOU GUYS DOING THIS WONDERFULL SHIT FOR SO LONG?". So much goodness to catchup on and I am loving and laughing and finding new films and learning stuff from you both that i never knew. Thanks for making Off the Shelf Reviews.
I like how Adam Sandler are loyal to his friends and employs them in his movies, he gets alot of cred for that.
Sure, but he also does it to elevate the star recognition of the movie, and thus justify those insane budgets (and thus, his own gains).

Thats better than any Adam Sandler movie he wrote and directed , Adam Sandler is good only when its directed and written by someone else .
Jack and Jill costed (79 mil dollars) more to make than , Star Wars , Empire strikes back and Return of the Jedi combined (67 mil dollars) .
The intensity of Iain’s hatred for this movie, was absolutely hilarious. Gary thought this movie was so bad, his face looked as though he died on the inside, after watching it. This review was funnier than this horrible “comedy”. 😂

Eugenio Derbez is basically the Mexican Adam Sandler. His movies make a lot of money using similar tropes; he sells the "dramatic" portions far better, though. Just want to say, your impression of Sandler's rambling is pretty great.

I unfortunately watched this movie when I was 11. Remembered one scene but the audio switched accidentally where the children had the adult voices. And the adults had the voices of the children. Me and my parents roared with laughter to the point where my mom nearly peed her pants.
Im pretty sure Iain's rants about the films he hates are my favorite ones to watch.

Have y'all seen Grandma's Boy? It's a Happy Madison movie but doesn't have Adam Sandler. Early cameo from Kevin Nash as well. Notoriously bad reviews but I LOVE it. I have no idea why I enjoy this movie so much, but I do. I love it. I laugh every time I watch it, and I’ve watched it quite a bit. I don’t even really care for Adam Sandler but thought he did a good job in this. 🤷🏻♀️

I liked exactly _two_ Adam Sandler movies: Little Nicky, and 50 First Dates. Both times, I liked them more for the other actors/characters than I did for Adam Sandler.

Man,Punch Drunk Love is really the best movie he ever made. When they destroyed this movie on Half in the Bag I thought it would never be talked about again. I thought that Mike and Jay had suffered enough for humanity,but apparently not. Why did you do this to yourselves? Gary's look of utter depression and disgust says more than words ever could. You are both braver men than I could ever be.

The night before my family sat down to watch this, I showed them all Eraserhead, I GUARANTEE YOU we laughed more during ERASERHEAD than this movie. Nobody said anything after this one, I presume they felt unclean because I had to argue with my dad over shower dibs.
Al Pacino is the best part(only decent one) in the movie though

Adam Sandler is NOT funny at all. Yesterday I saw the movie Billy Madison and I cringed the whole movie. It almost hurts to see joke, after joke not working. Very very cringe. Adam Sandler does not work on comedies. It`s really a empty spot.

This is amazing. Just this week I began to clean as a living, and today I was thinking about these nerd reviewers I love to watch on UA-cam -- perhaps they do the same? Earn some honest money during the day, have their real life during afternoons and evenings watching movies, and then wallowing in profound and intelligent analysis of them?
This movie made me laugh, but definitely not from whatever the intended reasons. Think it was Al Pacino seeming like he had dementia. Think someone needs to save Al Pacino, they have him hostage and are forcing him to do movies.
I like bad movies, but this was difficult to watch. It felt like it went on for a lot longer than the run time.
from outta of context the jokes are kinda funny, like the atheist and Jewish one, that was in this video I had a little chuckle and I'm PROUD..... somewhat (also my expectations are extremely low when it comes to Adam Sandler movies, since WaterBoy is my fav for some reason not sure why)
