What is baptism? It’s public declaration of private decision.
Why do we need to be water baptized?
- Jesus modeled it
- Apostles practiced it
- Jesus commanded it in the great commission (Matthew 28:19)
- It symbolizes death to our old life and rising up to our new life (Romans 6)
What are the requirements for baptism?
- Faith in Jesus (Acts 2:41)
- Repentance from sin (Acts 2:38)
Is water baptism required for salvation? Answer is NO! We are saved by grace through faith! Baptism follows our salvation but it’s not required for salvation! Criminal on the cross was not baptized yet he joined Jesus in paradise.
Can infants be baptized? Answer is NO! Baby dedication and baptism are two separate things. Jesus was baptized as an adult. As a infant, He was dedicated in the temple! Plus, baptism is for those who believe and repent, infants don’t believe and they don’t repent!
Can you be baptized by someone sprinkling water on you? Answer is NO! Baptism comes from Greek word “immersion”. The very idea of baptism means full immersion into water, not few drops on your face. Bible says “Jesus came out of water” (Matthew 3:16) That means he was full immersed into water!

I have a question because I feel if I wait on a pastor I'll never get baptized.
Can I an unbaptised women baptized my mother and vise versa?
Can women give baptisms?
Does someone have to be baptized to baptized someone else?
I want to be baptized like yesterday. And I need answers someone please answer these questions for me!
Pastor, does your congregation celebrate Jesus birthday on December 25th?
Just facts my brother, Jesus was not born on December 25th , I know you have been taught that but it is not true , Jesus was born in the last week of September if you analyze scripture . He was 6 months younger than John the Baptist and John was born in April, December 25 was created by the catholic church as the birth date of Jesus, just showing you the truth brother ,peace be with you

Baptism without the faith that remission of sins is happen is not baptism.
Jews they repent! They believed and asked Peter ,What we should do?
And Peter answered to them Repent and be baptized for the remission of Sins!
Rom.6;4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [him] through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
1Pet.3: 21 The like figure whereunto [even] baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

My two questions are this, how can anyone believe that Father, Son, or Holy Ghost are names?
And how could Peter and all that early church be in direct disobedience to Jesus’ command of Matthew 28:19?
Before you answer, remember that Peter had the keys to bind and that God so backed him up, that even those that his shadow touched were healed.
And also remember that Paul was so sure of the correct water baptism and his revelation of the scriptures that he said anyone that changed it from his way was accursed. Gal1:8. And he commanded those that were incorrectly to be rebaptized.
If you read this and you truly want the real baptism of the Holy Ghost and really follow God, then go to God with all your heart and He will reveal to you the same truth He has revealed to all those that truly are His. Matthew 16:16-19.
Water Baptism is not a requirement to be saved. It's works of rightouseness, you receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. It's not a commandment. Don't forget that you are saved by faith. There's many that have been baptised yet they have fallen away..

is there a verse in the New Testament that says explicitly that water baptism in Jesus's name is a public declaration of an inward decision?, e.g. - "...they believed and were then baptized to publically celebrate having come to the Lord..."
Or is this purpose for baptism inferred or an indirect conclusion based on other things? I noticed there was no verse for this purpose presented in the video. Thank you.

Acts 8,16 says that that baptism in 1 name was not enough...
because it was only in Jesus name.
For flesh to die, 3 witnesses are needed as Jesus said in Matt 28,19

3 witnesses for flesh to die,
(to be born anew in Spirit.)
Public water baptism also confirms your faith publically, demonstrating to Jesus that you are not ashamed. Rom 1, 16-17

Acts 8:16 says
For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
It doesn't say "because" they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Deuteronomy 17:6 says
"Whoever" is deserving of death shall be put to death on the testimony of two or three witnesses; "he" shall not be put to death on the testimony of one witness.
It does not say flesh which you are using in a dual sense to denote being saved. Deuteronomy 17:6 says whoever and he, literally the person being killed as in a physical corpse, no second meaning. You can't transpose one onto the other.
Romans 1:16-17 says
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. [17] For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
It says nothing about baptism. Any message of water baptism confirming your faith publically, demonstrating to Jesus that you are not ashamed, is you reading into the verse what you already believe.
How do you think to pass off any scripture at all as supporting a purpose of baptism in water in Jesus's name as confirming one's faith publically, demonstrating to Jesus that one is not ashamed, when every attempt you make is based solely on your commentary of the passage, and is never found in the text? Here's a question. Why do believe a purpose for baptism in water in Jesus's name that is found nowhere in the Bible on its own, that is completely commentary driven, that if you're honest, you have to admit is not a Biblical teaching?

I was baptized around 7-8 years old but I didn't fully understand And i wasn't MADE to do it, i wanted to, but i dont really remember it.. So i have wondered if anything in me will change if i get RE-baptized.
I have always been a Christian but i wasnt following and seeking God up until about 3 years ago. I have so much hope that after i get baptized Sunday I will really notice a difference.. I dont know if im making any since, i just keep thinking 'well you were already baptized, so...' But i have sinned A LOT and wasn't living for God. I want that old man DEAD so i can be made new. I had struggled w addiction and still having a little trouble. Its hard but i know Gods got me. I just want to REALLY feel Gods love and be closer to Him. I dont want to know OF Him, i want to KNOW HIM! And i want to be totally transformed!

Pastor Vlad i want to baptised but here in Malaysia when water baptised they only sprink the water no church here immersed full body in water.. How with that to find right church to baptised me?
