As an American, some people don’t get how terrifying it is to wake up in the middle of the night to an EAS Alarm. I’ve heard it MILLIONS of times, but it gives you traumatic flashbacks when you wake up to it at 1am without the right state of mind, just because some little kid got lost on his way to the Icecream truck. 😭 (The alerts still should be taken seriously, though, all jokes aside)

I find that the Brazillian Alarm can be more scary if you see it in context. As a Brazillian, I've never ever heard our EAS alarm and probably will never hear it on the TV, specially because our country is in the middle of a tectonic plate, so we don't have any natural disasters. The thing is, if we do actually hear it is not natural, *it is something else...*

I as a Brazilian i am grateful for evaluating our EAS. I did not know that Brazil had an EAS, because in Brazil it is not common to have natural disasters or wars. Some of our states (mainly citing Mato Grosso and Alagoas) are very unlikely to have their own EAS, because Brazil itself already has its own EAS. I sincerely really liked the Brazilian EAS.
For Argentina's, it's easy to picture a giant airborne superweapon over the horizon of the deserts outside of San Juan and the skies filled with Argentine and Chilean fighter aircraft racing to intercept it.

I find that the Brazillian Alarm can be more scary if you see it in context. As a Brazillian, I've never ever heard our EAS alarm and probably will never hear it on the TV, specially because our country is in the middle of a tectonic plate, so we don't have any natural disasters. The thing is, if we do actually hear it is not natural, *it is something else...*

I as a Brazilian i am grateful for evaluating our EAS. I did not know that Brazil had an EAS, because in Brazil it is not common to have natural disasters or wars. Some of our states (mainly citing Mato Grosso and Alagoas) are very unlikely to have their own EAS, because Brazil itself already has its own EAS. I sincerely really liked the Brazilian EAS.
