Good review Chris Evan’s
You are describing the upgraded Raptor not the base model minus the upgraded shocks, 37 inch tires and modular bumper. Just saying……
Lovin this truck! Am seriously considering buying one later this year or early next, but torn whether to get a smooth, black Diamondback HD bedcover on the bed, or an RSI Smartcap on the bed. Have decided on the 37 package, though not the R, but torn between this Black, the Oxford White, or the Code Orange. If I go white or orange I'd likely go body colored fender flares. Definitely wheel well liners. Would want no decals on hood or sides, maybe just a small 37 on lower right of tailgate just below the small Raptor word. And I'm thinking a small level on the front after market. Just wish I knew if real snowtires, not just the 3 peak winter rate AT's, were available in a 37 tire on a 17 wheel. I found at least one in the 35 size, but I really want the 37 size, and living in mountainy ski country am thinking I'd like to use real snows Thanksgiving to Easter, but 3 peak rated AT's for Easter to Thanksgiving. I'd welcome input on any of this, especially the snow tire issue and the Diamondback bedcover versus RSI Smartcap choice for over the bed. I actually saw a youtube vid that showed a smartcap improving average mpg versus open bed, but hard to believe that, would be nice though. And do you know, can you use that Pro Power Onboard while the engine is not on, and if so, for how long, and must the engine be turned over to run it?
Good video 👍
I'm honestly torn between this and the Ranger Raptor. The F-150 version looks amazing and I would love to own one. But the RR also looks badass, would save me about 20K and would actually fit in my garage
The ranger raptor does not have nearly the road presence. It does not stand out like the bronco or f150 does. 20k is 20k, though...
Good job
Has the 2024 or will the 2025 Raptor have increased payload capacity? And if so, how much? I ask b/c I've seen a number of youtube vids with earlier Raptors like 2020-2022, maybe 2023, that like to overland, and they say that by the time they add a heavy RSI Smartcap, a popup tent on top of that, and all their gear, the Raptor gets butt heavy, saggy in the back, so to alleviate that issue they have either added leafs in the rear or changed out to firmer springs, both of which I imagine would decrease that famous Raptor buttery smooth drive, including highway drive, and that concerns me. Thanks. I've been leaning towards the 37 instead of the 35, in case that is relevant.
Very cool
💯
Where are you located i love the raptor r 2024 of course when is generation 4 coming out
Minneapolis, the raptor R is already out
Can I put a snow plow on that? 😂
I don't see why not... work truck!
I have a 37 coming...any comments on the new shocks going over bumps etc over the 2023? Smoother?
I could not tell any difference just driving it around town personally
Who did the ppf is that a totally different wrap who does your wraps
It is satin PPF so it appears to be a matte finish over the color. Apple Autos did this wrap
I don't get how these manufacturers still refuse to put spray in bed liners. Something like that is standard on a Honda.
Honda doesn't make a real truck
Raptor R gets around 10 miles per gallon right? Thats insane. Why not just get f150 v8?
That should be obvious
You mentioned Ford Blue Cruise - I wasn't aware this was in the 24s
You are correct. There is no blue cruise for the raptor. Only adaptive cruise control.
You are totally correct. Raptors only have blue cruise.
Thanks for catching that!
It sucks i live in Australia. I would take this monster off roading every weekend.
What’s faster this raptor or the 5.0 coyote
Most likely just a 5.0 f-150 mainly due to the dramatically smaller tires
How old is Austin now
I’m 22!
Nice truck, but the Raptor R is just 👌🏼
Yeah.. that R is on a whole other level
so? you won't be able to drive one off the ot less than 150k.... its just V8, why pay that much ?
@@adriank2959 you can, there’s a another UA-camr on here that bought a 2024 Raptor R for 90k. And you can buy one for 111,000 Msrp if you search. It’s possible but difficult
@@adriank2959 I’ll wait till the 2024 raptor R drops down in price
@@samuelozer6850 I need one for business tax writeoff, but even its R, I don't wanna pay over MSRP for it , just because of the inventory ,not because the car itself worth that much
Dark SIDE OF THE MOON 🌑💙⚖️⭐️
You talk depreciation that’s true but because the raptor is a rare stand out truck it will maintain its value
You can get a 21 Raptor in the mid 60s to low 70s
LED lights
Everyone says you’d have to be compensating for something small, to drive one of these.
I think that’s mean 😢
Grab a big box out of the bed carry it into the house and push the button on the fob to close it so you don't have to go back outside. I guess that was to deep for you.. And the layout on the knobs is not the same its the cheapest crap I have ever seen.
What state you live in
Minnesota. Apple Autos in Apple Valley. Thier in-house custom department cryptic customs handles most accessories and modifications.
Black is cool, but it dulls the shape into a classic looking F150
Agreed. Definitely cooler color options on this truck.
2024, and manufacturers are still putting these giant radio antennas on their vehicles. Embarrassing.
Good observation.
91k?...not hardly....
Not much has changed.
No, not really.
unless you get the Raptor R, The T-rex will eat this thing alive
The TRX can’t say much, because it’s no longer being built lol. It was replaced with an inline 6.
@@PerformanceOnWheels oh course, so what does a non Raptor R have under the hood?
3.5 V6, which is the direct competitor to the new RAM HRO until the new electric TRX comes out
@@PerformanceOnWheels ecoboost V6, yeah I wouldn't brag too much about that, just get a real Raptor R
@badgambit7332 I’m not bragging about it.. just saying the TRX doesn’t exist anymore so it cannot be complained about or compared to. Just like you can’t compare the new Mustang to the new charger
They copied the new Tundras DRL
Definitely similar
No they didnt
Very irresponsable way to drive. 14:20
How? By going thru a round about?
@@PerformanceOnWheels Not, by not holding the wheel of the big toy
Did you actually say "In 2021 Ford gave the Raptor a face lift" ???? In 2021 Ford gave us the ALL NEW Generation 3 Raptor, not a "facelift". Completely new design, inside and out. Not a facelift.
