Amazing channel ! You deserve so much love and much more subscribers ! God bless you my brother ! ❤☦
Aye agree❤
I love the recording from St. Peter and Paul Antiochian Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is gorgeous and if you haven't heard it, it's here on UA-cam. I loved singing this hymn during Holy Week, its such a deep song.
☦☦Am commenting before i even watch this.
I have been thinking about St. Kassiani since last night because of an unkind comment someone made about the character St. Theodosia who was important in the restoration of icons. Which saddened me as there waa of course no good reason to say what he did.
Of course, that person has no understanding about why icons are important, nor of the stories of many, many who suffered in those years and in these following years to confirm the theological importance of icons..
The story of St. Kassiani being interviewed with other beautiful young women as a possible future wife for the prince who would one day be the emperor who banished icons and her response to him which quietly indicated the quality of her heart and mind is a lovely story .
He chose someone else: the future St. Theodosia who was milder!
But St. Kassiani the poet also suffered for the icons and is given a prominent place in the icon of the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy.
"God is wonderful in His saints, the God of Israel.!!
And, MEMORY ETERNAL!, to a friend and poet who took her name as her patron saint!. ☦📿💝📿☦
Thank you and God Bless!!!
BEAUTIFUL. ☦🎵📿🎵☦
Simply, BEAUTIFUL
Thank you again.
Another beautiful life of a saint. Could you also make a video on how the bible was compiled?
Thank you for this! The way I heard it Theophilus had fallen in love with Kassiane, but at the same time his pride was offended. And even so he had her flogged for being an iconodoule. This makes sense since as he had a feeling his death was imminent, he wanted to see her one last time. This would make an amazing movie!
Lovely as always! Have an amazing day!
Thank you for introducing me to this saint and her hymn, it brought tears to my eyes.
