The Surprising Reason You Lose

- There is something Brawl Stars players do, both on the high and the low ladder that, at face value looks like something you have to do in order to win, but in reality is making you lose. I was genuinely surprised when I realised this and I think you will be as well.
So, a lot of people make this mistake, both high and low players. But it’s almost most prevalent in low-ladder games. And by that, I mean anything below 800, even though that’s technically the mid-ladder.
A lot of people often don’t realise that they’re making this mistake because, like I said before, they think it to be a necessity, even though it really isn’t. But fixing this problem is actually a lot easier than you think.
But what exactly is this mistake? Well, since you’re here to learn about it, let’s see if you can figure it out yourself. I’m gonna be telling you 5 different aspects of this mistake, and by the time we get to the end, let’s see if you guys can guess what it is.

Addressing points raised in comments:
1. Pinching:
Pinching requires you to already have dominance in your own lane. So if you know that your lane's opponent can't stop you (or is dead) you're free to pinch.
2. Experience:
Yeah, Star Player gives 2 extra Exp Points, but do you really consider Experience Points a "main" progression ?

Other than the first tip, I agree with the rest of it. As for the first one, yeah it’s bad if you’re shifting your attention to other lane while forgetting yours. But sometimes helping other lane may be more beneficial (like pinching) and if you do it while not forgetting your lane then it’s actually a must-use strategy at higher levels
Keyword: "while not forgetting your lane". Important to keep in mind.
Surely he means that you shouldn't just randomly shoot at the side lanes when, say, a Sam is running at you full speed

you should should know whether the enemy is waiting for you too push.
also randoms make many high risk manuever on a whim.
sometimes its better to have your aggro on hold

Great video Z, but I think you missed a big aspect in the beginning, which is pinching. This is a really good thing to get kills on a high niveau. If you can pinch the enemy and kill him, your team will get possesion on the field and you create a 3v2 situation.

Literally just straight fax 😤 but seriously I noticed very quickly how easily you rise through the pl ranks when you actually learn to trust your teammates and play as a team rather than a 1 man army

I normally play like a team when I play like one with my team, but I never play as a team with people that leave the match when the player that leaves knows that we are going to fail
Ok I normally don’t comment but I have been focusing on playing just my lane all day in power league and it has SIGNIFICANTLY increased my win rate. Thanks so much for the tip Z!

It's less "how do we pinch" and more "when do we pinch".
The answer would be: when your opponent is either dead or not putting any pressure on you.

When your lane is free, shoot another lane.
Pinching isn't some co-ordinated assault. It's just: hey, I can trap that guy.

The thing about focusing on one lane with randoms is that these idiots don’t even kno wat a lane is lol on top of that they lose it constantly so u have two ppl to fight

Hi, everyone! I found this chanell very useful to increase your in-game skill, so I want to ask this question exactly here, hope author or his subscribers can help me. The question is which brawler/brawlers will be the best one/ones to train skills like aiming, dodging, pushing, spawn-trapping, spawn-trap escape and many others(preferably brawlers with simple mechanics) for a newbie (I'm playing the game since January 2019 with breaks, but doubting a lot about my skill level). Someone named Jacky like easiest brawler to play, but I'm not sure she is worth to play if look how strong is she in the current meta. May be, I should just play every brawler I have, but then I'll play underleveled brawlers a lot (I have tons of power 7 brawlers with 600 trophies). Or I just should upgrade and play meta brawlers and learn how to play using them? I don't really care about trophies, they're not showing your skill level anyway, so the main goal is not to push many trophies, the main goal is to learn how to play well. Hope guys you can help. Thanks everyone!

5:08 "It doesn't help with your main progression" When you get star player, you get extra experience points and leveling up your experience gives tokens. So it helps in your progression.

Yeah, that's not happening in solo queue lol. It relies on you and your random both simultaneously recognising the matchups diffs.
