Following on from yesterday's dramatisation of The Wind in the WIllows, here is a 1995 reading of the official sequel by William Horwood.
(This was not the first such sequel - Jan Needle's 'Wild Wood' and Dixon Scott's 'A Fresh Wind in the Willows' were earlier examples - and with the advent of Horwood's book, Scott's seemed to disappear from the shops. Horwood was a very big name at the time, having authored two trilogies of dense animal fantasy novels - the Duncton books, which centred on the lives of moles. He must have seemed a natural choice to produce a new sequel to Grahame's book...)
