I still have the VHS tapes of these. It's too bad we will never see all of the D&M Shows released on digital or DVD or Blu Ray. Because of all the music, it would be too expensive to pay the licensing fees. Thank you, Dave, for making these shows available to us on your UA-cam channel. I was only 11 1/2 years old when "Donny & Marie" first aired on ABC-TV in January 1976. It was such a significant part of my childhood and to this day I continue to be a lifelong fan.
Watching this show brought back wonderful memories. I was 12 years old when The Donny and Marie Show made its debut. And I remember watching all of these on Friday nights. What I can appreciate, now all these years later, that I didn't quite grasp then, is the tremendous amount of work that obviously went into making a single episode! The dancing alone! This family had a great deal of talent and brought so much joy into the world! It was impossible not to have fun watching!

I Love Donny & Marie. I remember them in the 70's way back in the Phils (B&W TV).Their Closing song 'May Tommorrow be a Perfect day,May you found Love & Laughter all the way..." They really add inspiration in Music during my early years (1976-78).ALL the Best Osmond sibs for 2024.
I was looking for this shoe. I was 10 years old when I saw that show. My parents used to love this show. Our family always wait for their new episode to be aired. I am nostalgic watching it.
This was necessary to set the weekend off! I literally feel like a little itty-bitty girl with a huge Afro again watching these segments from the Donny and Marie variety show. It is a shame they probably will never be on DVD but I feel pretty thankful I have decent copies of the shows! I never thought that would happen.
