This was a cool battle. Tough draw for Luigi because Wolfer seems to be a style bboy as well, which can counter Luigi's flavor which is his advantage over just about anyone. This could have gone either way which is why judges went 3-2 and ultimately got it right. I score it 2-1 Luigi. He just packed more substance and was more demonstrative.
1st round: luigi. clean, signatures, on beat, took his time. wolfer rushed. 2nd round: luigi. his round was short, yes, but he put in his signatures to the music again and was solid. wolfer wasn't really sticking too many of his freezes. he popped out of them pretty fast and seemed like he was a second ahead of the music again. 3rd round: luigi. short round again from luigi but still solid and concise. he packed in a good amount of unique moves. wolfer just did his typical side steps again, a transition or two, some footwork and didn't pack much content. wolfer seems dope but his energy was off for this battle. when someone like luigi is concise, precise and packs a lot of content into well packaged rounds, anyone like wolfer who has a very energetic, at times over-energetic, style will seem rushed like the MC said. luigi took all 3 for me despite two risky rounds in terms of length. but then again, length is never really and should never really be too much of a determining factor if there's enough content.
