I disagree with Ortega. I think the people of the US are complicit in the country’s imperialism. This is from someone who is from the US. I see almost everyone around me turn the other cheek and ignore the crimes committed by the government. Most of the country’s population remains satiated by the material excess that exists here. Bread (look at the size of the avg US citizen) and circuses (most are fascinated with pro sports, gambling, movies with no social value) and ignore what is going outside the borders unless it is to hate immigrants and countries that want to create a readicly different society from the capitalist US and Europe. I'm elderly and when I finally hit the wall it was truly disappointing to see what I had missed all these years. Educate others as much you can.
