wow ....man this is the best tutorial and walk through on granular synthesis by far....I was about to give up on granular after trying to use it in omnisphere 2, but you have just made love it...great job...and SUBSCRIBED. Thank you. One question if you don't mind....how would you compare padshop 2 granular too omnisphere 2 granular?? Padshop 2 just sounds insane.
thanks. You helped me put thing on the thingy, thanks again. I can now know what I am doing and make it sound more like what I want. thanks, I see where want to go with it every time touch it
Padshop 2 is SOOOOO underrated, I feel like alotta steinberg VSTs get over looked because they largely yous synth style layouts and not the super sexy flashy skins ya know the idea are you playing a synth or playing with a sexy toy
can it be resized ? im tierd of stamp sized plugins on 2019 monitors. oh yes the font should resize too. half the plugin developers enjoy remaining in the late 90s
@@coffeecult7948 Maybe so but Atruria's Pigments 2 is wonderful as I can resize all over the place but I keep it at 70-80% but the sucker goes so big it literally can go beyond the size of 1920x1200 monitor.

and there should someone say that the onboard synths of the daw manufacturers are no good. As a cubase user, I'm totally happy about this fantastic vsti. nice that you have the padshop 2 under the microscope. nice and funny video. well explained as always.
FAB Video. BUT What are the System Requirements for Absolute 4 & PADSHOP 2. Will they work in ANY DAW?? eg in Ableton Live etc. posted 4th December 2019
I use cubase but dont really get this plugin.... i like melda granular, crystalizer, things texture or grainspace more. They sound more like my hardware pedals. But then again i can have a approach to this plugin thats not right. But granular to me sounds like something diffrent. But i do have to say drums sound really intresting trough this.
usually it helps to deactivate your plugin folder in the preferences and then reactivate it to force ableton live fo search and register all your plugins newly.
All synth tutorials should just be someone playing back stuff they made and saying "beautiful sound" over and over. I legit learned a ton from watching this.
Well. Weird noises are fun to play with. Heard very little I could make real money with. Not everyone thinks demon voices are cool. Guess my audience is different. Seems to have potential. Hopefully it can do stuff other than dystopian nightmare racket.
The character is unbelievably not needed in every syllable in full total pressured forced in every tiny ounce of space for a watcher thought like as an adult who teaches a kid thinking their the most stupid redundant thing like a person who gets mad at a machine that wasn't built for that task at all... but thanks anyway!
You made this plugin sound monstrous , amazing that it comes stock. I’ve slept on it
So, I was so stupid when I thought about purchasing this until I realized that It's already included in my Cubase 10.5 (LM.AO)_(LM.AO)
seriously.
Running out of 'tremendous' adjectives :)
oh my God. I own this for 13 Months and I never had a look at it. Why was I so stupid? This will be my favourite toy for the next time.
OTT on the orange and teal

the clickiness of some of those granular percussions are legit making love to my earbuds

Great video, reminded me I need to upgrade to Cubase 10.5
It was probably the best value up grade the new multi tap delay is excellent too
can it be resized ? im tierd of stamp sized plugins on 2019 monitors. oh yes the font should resize too. half the plugin developers enjoy remaining in the late 90s
so true 😂
Because it's very tedious to do that

I keep comparing it to other granulars and padshop is up there at the top
@Nathaniel Walker True

hi how are you ? what's the difference between Padshop Pro and Pashop 2 ?

Granular synthesis is the future 100%. Getting this plugin rn I don't think I'll need anything else in the near future

It’s pretty cool synth!
Nice presentation, Love your groove3 courses.
What is the CPU usage like ?
Not small
If your running on a computer with AMD Ryzen like I am, it's very good with the CPU. No slow downs.
amazing tutorial
Great Tutorial- So clear- Thanks so much!
when using granular synthesis . do you actually go out of key often because the pitch is going crazy.
BEST sounddesign tool !!
Cubase = best daw. No doubt.
Hey! At the 15:00 this awesome sounds was from preset or you did by urself? Love it
No. It's a sample loaded in.
@@TheRaveMusicArchive Thx. That sample from lib? or some external?
I took a toke of my spliff each time you said grain 🥴🥺
can you run this as FX?
Definitely picking this up
GOOD DEMO SIR...
10:47 👍🏽🤓
They should have paid you to show how to install it. Absolute nightmare
0:35 silent hill
Good WORK!
I liked your Komplete Kontrol tutorial in Groove3 :)
Ableton just released Grain Scanner
did this just come out?
its been around for a few years super underrated
how did you manage to get padshop 2 on ableton? ever since i moved to ableton ive never been able to get it to work...
to note, i think it has something to do with ableton's 64 bit only compatibility
usually it helps to deactivate your plugin folder in the preferences and then reactivate it to force ableton live fo search and register all your plugins newly.
You have the cubase dongle inserted right?
Very cool and dope

I was hoping it would get a bit more educational than that. Like comparing the same sound through both types of oscillator etc.
yes
Looks like a great tool. I've enjoyed the granulator.by Robert henke quite a lot and this seems to take the thing to the next level
Collide - not all spectral synths are created equal you negative bastard. Padshop had some unique twists = next level
Enjoyed immensely, intensely.ect
That is a __________ sound!
Can't use because it is too small!! No way to change DPI setting on plugins!! What a waste of dough!!!
excellent vid if you wanna learn different english words for very good ;-)

Expression of the man is better than the synth😊
Funniest You tube dude ever. Lolz.
That has to be the longest 20 minutes of my life.
yolo
10 minutes. er...
