- Blue the Velociraptor has had a significant presence within the Jurassic World Trilogy and actually has a decent story behind her. From being born in 2012 and our final sighting of her in 2022, here is the Entire Story of Blue, Jurassic World's Velociraptor!

My heart literally melted when Maisie was watching the video of Owen training the raptors and Blue being sweet and checking on Owen in Fallen Kingdom.
Yeah, she’s pretty extraordinary.
The only reason why Blue is my favorite Jurassic raptor is because she is very close to being animalistic even raised and treated well by a human, and she's one of the most misunderstood characters in the franchise, since Maisie Lockwood, as people forget that raising wild animals, even dangerous ones, are a thing in real life.

Blue is such an amazing Velociraptor and I love her so much. She's had a lot happen in her life but she has managed to pull through, from losing her sisters, to being released in a new world but successfully gave birth to a baby! I'm gonna miss seeing her in movies/series. Thanks for being such an amazing raptor for us all Blue!

Blue the Velociraptor will always be my favorite Raptor of the Jurassic World movies and even though she lost Charlie beta and Echo in Jurassic World and after getting shot by a mercenary in Fallen Kingdom I'm glad she was able to survive in Jurassic world Dominion.
I was deeply surprised that she was able to have beta the baby Velociraptor and when she's captured by the poachers I was deeply heartbroken but I'm glad that Owen and Claire decided to go and rescue Beta and Maisie Lockwood and at the end of the movie they were able to bring back beta over to Blue and I was so happy that they were able to bring her back to Blue and I know that they will still able to watch over her and her baby. Sometimes I imagine that me and my dad would meet beta and blue and that we would be able to watch over her and her baby with her very lives and keep her safe from poachers.

One thing I absolutely love about Blue is her story, it is tragic and happy at times. When she lost her sisters and had to adapt to living alone in a new environment by herself, and then when she had Beta and seemed like a caring and loving mother, which is a story I hope is dig deeper into

Blue as a baby was the cutest thing. Her showing empathy! Screw therapy, just talk to her. I do miss her sisters as well.
I always cared about Blue,and now,with years and movies and tv show going by,I'm so so attached to her,not as much as Rexy,but I can tell you that the "Thank you" and the "Goodbye" she came back to "say",or demonstrate,to Owen always,and I do mean always,gets me emotional,no matter how many times I watched that scene

Not only did she help defeat the Indominus & Indoraptor but now we know she also helped the campers defeat the Scorpios Rexes! Talk about quite the resume or profile. Not only that she went from losing her sisters, to living alone to finally being blessed with a beautiful baby girl 💕
Also for those of you that don't know, the raptors never betrayed Owen for the Indominus. When they were looking at Owen it was because he was their alpha and they were waiting for their next order. Also if you look closely, none of the raptors attack Owen or Barry and only appear to attack the InGen soldiers they don't recognize.
But blue did attack Barry. And echo even chased Owen and the group through the labs. They only stopped when blue was face to face with Owen. It was the nurture vs nature argument.
Blue was cared for a raised solely by Owen with aid from Barry but her loyalty was only to him in the end.
The indominus wasn’t raised by anyone, only kept isolated with her sibling till she killed it and was cut off from human contact besides seeing the through glass
Even though blue did attack Barry, and the other raptors attacked Owen, blue did show the most affection torward Owen because Owen cared for her the most. I do see your point, and I believe what you’re saying.
Nope! It was some real "Lord Of The Flies" type shit! If those Raptors had caught Owen with the Indo Rex around, they would have torn him apart without a second thought! In pack life when a new Alpha is declared, the former Alpha is usually killed or banished.
I think it was Charlie that did recognize Barry and stoped the killing spree for about 5 seconds before I was given the RPG and unlike the idiot that missed the i-rex I actually hit something
Yes Blue deserves the best!!! For the Jurassic 2015, Blue never betray owen, after the raptors turn behind after done communicating with irex, Blue was like getting next order from Owen. And for Barry, she doesn't recognize it's him until he called her name and peeked thru the hole, then Owen called her and she went followed him again (don't forget Blue is the 2nd most intelligent creature in the world, plus she's able to show feelings so she knows who took care of her since born and would never attack Owen n Barry)
I love Blue. She's one of my favorite dinosaur because of how unique she is compared to literally every other dinosaur in this franchise: empathetic, yet still dangerous!
Blue is one of my favourite dinosaurs the longer the directors did a perfect job showing blue is more aggressive now with beta like normal animals
Nice! The story of the remaining loyal Velociraptor of Owan Grady's raptor pack. If only Blue's other siblings survive into the world that is now a Jurassic World in this universe.
But it's still good to see Blue living on for her siblings while she stays loyal to Owan. In some way.

Blue was honestly my favorite part of the Jurassic World franchise.

The way you put together Blue’s story made me think wow blue is indeed a fantastic dinosaur to have in the franchise and though some people might think that Jurassic Words raptor weren’t as deadly as Jurassic Parks raptors and subsequent variants I believe it gave the raptors more character and made them even more charismatic dinosaurs. Blue story is beautiful and I hope see her continue to live her days in the wild with Beta and maybe find a new pack with other raptors who have found there way onto the mainland like the JP 3 raptors.
Yep that’s my life story! It had plot twists. Twists and turns, sadness, confusion, anger, happiness, forgiveness, and me and Beta are chilling!
Any thoughts on what they could do with raptors in future instalments, Swrve? I’m guessing one of two things could happen:
1. The Jurassic Park III Velociraptors could return, as they were confirmed to be alive by the Dinotracker site.
2. The Velociraptors could be phased out of the franchise with the end of Blue’s story, maybe with Pyroraptor, Atrociraptor or a new species like Deinonychus or Utahraptor taking over as the new dominant raptor.

@@mattycraig1544 Too unrealistic, she was agitated and pissed because Delta was taken and after scratching Owen Blue immediately left as if she was aware that she'd hurt Owen more if she stayed, Owen and Claire trying to take Blue with them on a plane would have resulted in the raptor mauling them to death out of a blind rage because she'd still be pissed about her baby.

Blue has never really been my favorite raptor, she’s more of my second favorite but I do hope we see her in the future, I personally would like to see her and Beta again.

I don’t think they took the indominus as the new alpha, I think what happened was, when they realised they could communicate with the I.Rex they thought they were recruiting a new member to the raptor squad, and when they turned around they face Owen specifically, as if waiting for his command, they only attacked the soldiers when they shot at what they thought was a new pack member, also when Blue attacked Barry she didn’t actually know it was him and stopped attacking to get a look of who it was when he said her name, when they were chasing the van Claire was driving they were trying to catch and kill them but that’s just cuz they are velociraptors, they would’ve done that anyway, yh they did circle Owen, Claire, Zach and Grey when they came out of the visitors centre but that was probably them being like “why did you shoot at the indominus”, when the I.Rex showed up after that she probably said something like “why haven’t you killed them” Blue turned around probably told Owen we are gonna kill her, turns back around to the indominus, yells “NO”, then the I.Rex slaps Blue and then the final battle begins

When I watched the scene set in the kitchen of the visitors centre in Camp Cretaceous, I recalled that in the Jurassic Park, a raptor was trapped by the children in the freezer. Her body would still be in there unless someone from InGen rescued her before she starved to death/died of dehydration, or recovered her body for DNA extraction. My bet is her body is still in the freezer.

Yeah, I think she was looking for Charlie and Delta. Blue probably knows that Echo is dead cuz Echo was simply crushed and thrown aside by Indominus Rex, so Blue probably saw her corpse after the fight, but Blue didn't see Charlie or Delta die so she might have thought they were still alive, after all, I don't think Blue would recognize a bunch of charred ash as her sister.

The time between fallen kingdom could be explained by the “maisie lockwood adventure” books. The reason Blue and Owen live close together is because they were tracking her and eventually found a home where all four of them could live.

Idk if this should be in the Timeline, since it really isn't fully Canon, but the story Owen tells sounds too good to not be in Blue's timeline. (Please bare with me on this comment, it is long, but it's worth the read.)
The Amazon Echo interactive audio story, Jurassic World: Revealed (taking place right in between the Mt. Sibo eruption), Owen tells a story to one of the Mercenaries a story about Blue killing his original assistant.
Owen starts off the story by introducing a man named "Brock". He was one of Hoskin's men, who was in the Second Marin Division, Alpha Company. He use to be Owen's assistant before Leon, the guy who falls into the Raptor Squad Paddock in (2015). Owen continues by saying that Brock underestimated the intelligence of the Raptors, and that he was smarter than them. One day, Brock spotted Blue laying on her side in the Paddock, so he went to check her. He kept his eyes on the other the other Raptors when all of a sudden Blue attacks Brock, killing him and shredding him into multiple pieces. Blue was playing Possum to get Brock to fall for her trap, which worked. She divided him into five pieces to share with her pack.
One piece for her, three pieces for sisters... and one piece for Owen, since he was the Alpha of his Raptor Squad.
Owen then finishs his story by mention that he later on got a second assistant, Leon, and that when the tracking system is turned back on, he would want to go after Blue alone.
(Hope you guys enjoyed this piece of Lore, again this story came from the Official Amazon Interactive Audio Story, Jurassic World: Revealed. Whateveryou may consider the Amazon Story to be, Canon or not, but the story that Owen told was BONE CHILLING.)

I’ve noticed something when looking at the shots of both blue and beta together. I noticed that Beta’s stripe was much brighter than her mother’s only slightly. Beta’s stripe was more of a ocean blue while Blue’s was more of a metallic blue. What do you guys think?

They named a velociraptor blue, the cut raptor from fallen kingdom was going to be named green, they named an Atrociraptor red. It seems like they like to name dromeosaurids after colors

But not to worry though, She along with Beta will visit Owen, Claire and Maisie again from time to time offscreen.
Yeah, Blue seems to live near Owen's cabin, when Owen saw Blue and Beta he wasn't that suprised to see Blue so it's implied that Owen knows Blue lives nearby, also when Owen, Claire and Maisie returned Beta to Blue at the end, they knew exactly where to find Blue, further comfirming that Blue lives nearby to check on Owen and his family every now and then.
If Blue was the only “velociraptor” then what about the raptor pack with the bioluminescent leader from Jurassic world aftermath?
Now this video was awesome Swrve. But to me I don’t think this is the last time will see Blue and Beta
I love Blue. When I saw the previews for Dominion, I told my wife that if anything happens to Blue or her baby, I would burn down the theater.
That being said, I think she and the rescue of Beta could have been woven better into the story, Halfway through, they was no mention of it and it seemed to be tacked on at the end out of nowhere.
Finally someone word out my concerns. After first 10 mins( I think) there were no mentions nor any moments about Blue. Like she was forgotten or something. I was so expecting to see her but like they erased her for 90% of the movie... I cried my eyes out for that.

But wasn't Blue the second oldest? In fallen kingdom Owen's recording said she was from the "new group", I can't remember if it was Echo or Delta that was older but Blue definately wasn't the oldest.
I want to know how the Mosasaurus knew the Indominus was up there. Did it hear them, or did something fall in when it broke the fence, alerting the Mosasaurus?

2 years later and I'm still crying. If there is another movie or show I hope blue story will continue. She and her raptor pack was the reason that I stopped being afraid of velociraptors. I never thought I would ever say I like velociraptors especially being traumatized as a kid😅😊
The Velociraptor will always be my favorite carnivore dinosaur in the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies. This is a very good and emotional video you made and you done a very good job blue will always be my favorite Raptor in the Jurassic World movies and I'm glad that she was able to have a child of her own and that she and her baby will be the last of the velociraptors and I know that with Owen Grady watch over her and her baby they will be able to survive.
