How wonderful Sarah! I loved hearing about your StitchNorth experience. My husband has accompanied me to three retreats, Swindon 2023, Hobby House 2023, and The Attic 2024. He will be my companion for TGBSW Comes to America at Hobby House in October of this year, and Swindon 2025 next year. We plan personal travel /junkets in conjunction with these events, either before or after. I'm so lucky. But I've been to many motorcycle rallies and fly fishing jaunts with him. 😉 Grateful for health and the wherewithal to travel in the pursuit of our interests. My friend discovered some of these cookies at a Polish store in Omaha and brought a package back to me. They are wonderful! I would love a Blackbird pattern! 😊

I was at a small retreat this past weekend and had so much fun being with other stitchers and getting to know new people! It really is a pick-me-up for me! Hi Sarah! I'm so glad you had such a wonderful Stitch North experience! I was there weekend 1 as well... I was a little shy about saying hi to people whose channels I follow, not wanting to interrupt too much. I did say hi very briefly, though! I was there with my mom, and we just had a blast. Our table was full of inspiring and kind stitchers... it sounds to me like every single table is like that! What an amazing experience - we will definitely be back. Retreats are such a special, unique time... Explaining it to my husband, he said "it sounds like a gathering of stitch nerds!" (we're both nerdy about other things too). I’m so happy that Stitch North was such a wonderful experience and Stan sounds like he’s the best. Mary is an amazingly beautiful piece. All the work that went into finishing it overwhelms me. I really like that cow. Real Comfort turned out so well. I really want to stitch that and is on my wish list. All of your finishes are wonderful. I’m trying the two thread a day on bigger pieces. My problem is that I start with the two threads and love the piece so much I don’t stop. I really need to choose one piece and stick to the two threads a day. It’s a really good tip. I need to focus and not squirrel around. Have a great two weeks and am looking forward to your next video.

How wonderful Sarah! I loved hearing about your StitchNorth experience. My husband has accompanied me to three retreats, Swindon 2023, Hobby House 2023, and The Attic 2024. He will be my companion for TGBSW Comes to America at Hobby House in October of this year, and Swindon 2025 next year. We plan personal travel /junkets in conjunction with these events, either before or after. I'm so lucky. But I've been to many motorcycle rallies and fly fishing jaunts with him. 😉 Grateful for health and the wherewithal to travel in the pursuit of our interests. I was surprised to hear the name of the Roxy Floss Co linen called "Speculaas". It is beautiful and now I must have some! I recently discovered and made a spice mix called Speculaas. It consists mostly cinnamon but also contains eight other spices. It is the flavoring used in the windmill cookies we ate as children. My friend discovered some of these cookies at a Polish store in Omaha and brought a package back to me. They are wonderful! I would love a Blackbird pattern! 😊

I was a little shy about saying hi to people whose channels I follow, not wanting to interrupt too much. I did say hi very briefly, though! I was there with my mom, and we just had a blast. Our table was full of inspiring and kind stitchers... it sounds to me like every single table is like that! What an amazing experience - we will definitely be back. Retreats are such a special, unique time... Explaining it to my husband, he said "it sounds like a gathering of stitch nerds!" (we're both nerdy about other things too). You are such an inspiration and so uplifting. I was stitching tonight while watching and smiling every so often. I’m so happy that Stitch North was such a wonderful experience and Stan sounds like he’s the best. Mary is an amazingly beautiful piece. All the work that went into finishing it overwhelms me. I really like that cow. Real Comfort turned out so well. I really want to stitch that and is on my wish list. All of your finishes are wonderful. I’m trying the two thread a day on bigger pieces. My problem is that I start with the two threads and love the piece so much I don’t stop. I really need to choose one piece and stick to the two threads a day. It’s a really good tip. I need to focus and not squirrel around. Have a great two weeks and am looking forward to your next video.
