The best hand cream I've ever used is the Bioderma Atoderm hand cream, I got it from Sephora but I'm in the UK. I might be stating the obvious here but I only realised this last year - if you apply hand cream to the back of your hand, rub the backs of your hands together, then rub the excess into the palms and fingers, your hands are a lot less tacky for picking things up or touching things. Maybe everyone does this and I'm just slow!
Never thought to do that! i'll give it a go, thanks :)
Yeah, I'm at the point with Mecca where I'm avoiding buying from them unless I absolutely can't avoid it. I'll spend money at SpaceNK and Selfridges before Mecca these days. If I cannot access a brand due to exlusivity... I'll just find a different brand if I can.
I have a alternative/replacement for the paul & joe cream. It's Burt's Bees almond and milk hand cream. Its super thick! I use it mostly for my feet and a little goes a long way. It comes in a cute glass jar 🥰
I didnt know that elemis has joined Mecca 😭😭😭 i love the marine cleanser but i wont buy that at full price. They have just lost a customer 😞
I have dishpan hands issue. I like E45 Anti-Itch cream, I keep a big jug next to the kitchen sink. Good for red, itchy just on the daily and prevents cuticle fraying. Also, it absorbs quick so I can open a door soon. I can always add a dab on top of like petroleum jelly, or an oil, in winter if I need a little more. That's a lot of empties! 💪🏝️
Girl use dish gloves. I like the playtex ones but idk if you have any sensitivities if you do then there are gloves made with different materials. I also use dish gloves for cleaning too esp if they have a hole or something bc the reason i started was bc my apartment only has the temperature cool and burning in hell.
(couldn't edit my comment, ugh)
Oh, i'm sad to hear the Goldfield & Banks didn't do it for you, i'm less tempted to get it now based on your rant, i like to find new and different smells too~
If you think the legalities are a concern for Mecca please do raise it with the ACCC as they look into it for you!
Try propaira 30% urea foot cream. It's phenomenal. Checkout Algologie products in salons they are very similar to Elemis.
I bought the trio pack which includes the Elemis day cream, night cream and a treatment all 30mL each for $205, plus got about 15 decent sized samples as well. I checked the price on Mecca and just the pro collagen night cream 30mL is $292 😮. I guess I won’t be buying more unless I can find an overseas stockist that ships to Australia…
I agree about the Goldfields and Banks perfumes, absolute waste of money, never buying those again
I’m loving the Secret body spray deodorant and the Gold Bond body lotion with Retinol, which is so inexpensive. Also I have very very dry mature skin and the Derma E ultra lift copper peptides moisturizer (in the purple jar) is HIGHLY recommended. Magic.
I am so sad that Elimis is available only at Mecca. Those samples and extras made it worth buying.
I’m so angry with Elemis for selling us off in Australia and NZ to Mecca , we can no longer get access to the great deals that they had.☹️
Yeah I hate it too, I did do some research while editing and it looks like we can still buy from Cult Beauty who do sales, often have GWP's and retail cheaper than Mecca anyway.
Sorry but what's the deal with Biossance? I can't find anything online...
They were doing the sponsor rounds
The theme of this video is "potpourri" love it!
I am currently using that Paul and Joe hand cream as a night hand cream. I love it as a night cream. The packaging is pretty cute too :)
The Fenty hand cream is amazing as an overnight treatment. I buy it in multiples when they have their 25% or more sales.
Paulas choice body butter is my bedside hand and foot cream for years now.

😊❤
Totally agree about the Mecca thing.
Glad to know I'm not alone on this xx
Me too. Done .
