Labor Day Weekend At The IRM 9/2/24

First video of September.
We find ourselves back at the Illinois Railway Museum once again for their first event of the fall season, that being their Labor Day Weekend event, which saw the usual round of trains running up and down the IRM Mainline like Frisco 1630 with the Coach Train, the Nebraska Zephyr, and some of the interurbans. Also among the operational trains was CNW 1518 with the mixed train as well as a G Scale Layout display, and we took a look inside Barn 9 to find two of IRM's Santa Fe engines sitting side by side, and got a surprise appearance by a Belvidere Sub train, not bad for today if I must say. Enjoy!

There was a moment on that day which was very "deer" to our hearts, if you heard it discussed on the radio at all! I was on the Zephyr as it happened, with that family of white-tails causing a little mayhem!
