Thanks so very much I needed to know this 😊😊
Thank you that's exactly what i needed to know😁
Thank you for the instructional video. 😊 how can I tell physically if it’s working ?
Your Welcome. Here is Blog we have with more info. travelroller.com/introducing-the-new-travel-roller-earth-energy-universal-grounding-mat/ In there is a video where we use a Voltage Meter to test your mat actually working. Its a cool experiment, but If you don't want to buy for a meter you can simply just trust its working with the outlet checker. Hope that helps, check out that other youtube video where I demo the voltage meter!
You will FEEL it. You’ll feel it within 20-30 min.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you! Just plugged it in and my feet are tingling! Weird!! How would you use this in the winter time when it’s too cold to really take your socks off? I believe you’re saying this can’t be used with any fabric in between it and your skin correct?
Becky or Steve Johnson yep! That's normal to feel slight tingling, you place your feet on the mat and if you get cold just put a blanket over your feet. As long as its skin to mat you are grounding. Enjoy the awesome benefits of grounding! 💪
travelroller thanks!
My feet were tingling too and I got scared hahah I guess its a good sign that its working
@@travelroller Yeah , I did same and I put a blanket over my feet and enjoyed the result of it in terms of the sound sleep during whole night for the first time without any interruption whatsoever.
I have just received my mat today, have plugged into wall but have no tingling how do I know it's working.
How do you know if it's working?
we can’t feel anything 🤷🏽♀️
Very helpful - thank you!
Your welcome!! 🙌
May I ask when plug into the ground line, is the electricity on? Thanks
Yes electricity is always on and does not effect a ground outlet. When you purchase a Travel Roller grounding mat we give very clear instructions. The very bottom hole in North America is not connected to electricity. It is just a grounding wire. If you are concerned about this. You can always get an outlet checker. You should never put a grounding mat into an electrical outlet. The cords should be shaped differently then a regular plug to protect you from not making this mistake.
Please verify that the ground and neutral is not connected at the same bus bar (metal bar) in your breaker panel. If you are not sure, please cerify that that your breaker panel is not set up this way before you use a product like this one. If your ground wires and neutral wires are all connected on the same metal bus bar then if yhere is ever a power surge or your electricity fluctuates more than it should then it is possible that power can electrify the ground wires including the metal breaker panel too. The neutral and ground should only be connected to the same metal bus bar on your main disconnect or main lug panel, not the sub panel. Yall be careful.
I live in an old house that doesnt have a grounded outlet. Any suggestions?
Hi! If you can't get a ground in your house then maybe just natural grounding outside is your best bet. There are options of grounding shoes that you can wear in the winter months you might want to try. Harmony783, Rhizal, Groundz to name a few... hope that helps😊
Does this work on regular houses? How do I know my house is conected to the ground. I live.on the 1 floor.
Usually houses are connected to the ground. Best way to check is get an outlet checker from a hardware store and it will tell you if your outlet has a proper ground, lights will pop up. Hope that helps😉
@@travelroller thank you
Came for the grounding mat, left thinking you were beautiful.
Should I be feeling “tingly” when grounding on a mat? I received mine and grounded for one hour and stopped because I wasn’t sure if the tingling sensation was normal.
I think that's a safe intuition to stop after an hour. Sometimes if you are working on a laptop or phone at the same time. I find the tingling can be amplified. Just like anything, moderation is best. If you are unsure a voltage meter might tell you if you are receiving extra voltage or you body is at 0. Ground. In one of our other videos I demonstrate me using my voltage meter. Hope that helps! :-)
Should I feel anything? I plugged it in and feel nothing so I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to work. Thanks
It's normal to not feel anything. Just like when you go walk on a beach barfoot you don't feel grounding. Some people may experience, slight tingling ans warmth as the electrons enter your skin. But as you relax you should feel a sense of calm and being relaxed. You can test the voltage with a voltage meter if you are really curious. We have another video about that too in our channel! Thank You!
Sweet!
Yes but you didn't show which side of the Matt to touch skin
She’s literally sitting on it with the white plug piece on top 👀
@@deltalime I am touching and sitting on the black part of mat. I have tried other products that have leather type of feel but I was not happy with the quality of them so I started manufacturing my own grounding mats at the Travel Roller factory. All the TR mats are toxin free TPE on bottom of mat and are carbon infused foam that is used to ground the body. On he top black side. All you have to do it touch it with bare skin to have the benifits of grounding! :-)
Where is the rod that goes into the ground?
@@annavanwyk2945 there is a ground outlet installed in all modern house construction in your wall. The ground outlet is wired outside.
But what are the benefits from it?
Hi, here is good article explaining some benefits: chopra.com/articles/grounding-the-human-body-the-healing-benefits-of-earthing
none, zero, zilch. it is junk science. grounding mats have been around since electronics were invented to discharge static electricity to protect delicate electronics. lol anything to get your dollar out of your wallet.
I got a tester for this mat to make sure it is working since some of my outlets are grounded and some are not (all 3 prong outlets) and I can't seem to figure out if it's working or not - do you have any videos on how to test the mat?
ua-cam.com/video/YrZ13HGBZmI/v-deo.html Here is a link to a video with some testing of the mat. Yes a outlet tester is very important.
Generally ... 2 Amber lights is what you want. Any other combination is bad.
A rubber mat will always work, because as we all know, rubber is super conductive.
@@kronk358 grounding products are usually woven with silver or copper fibers, or are some type of carbon/rubber mix. It's not one giant copper mat just so if there DOES happen to be backfeed, then it doesn't cook you entirely. I bought one with a very sensitive fuse because I am paranoid hooking myself up to house ground... But it does work. You could also run a separate ground stake, and is the safest option (which I will do if this doesn't work out).
@@Camelotsmoon We do not use Rubber in our products as rubber is to be known to have toxicity. All our Travel Roller grounding mats are make of similar materials as our Travel Roller. Non-Toxic TPR/EVA mix with carbon. thanks for being part of the discusssion! 🙂
can i wash the mat?
Yes, you can wash it gently with a damp cloth. All our grounding mats are made of the same high quality Materials and closed cell foam as out Travel Roller products.
Hi what if your wearing clothes, does it if to be bare skin?
I will reply to myself for all: Yes, bare skin should make contact with mat for best conduction
why do you need to keep a grounding mat away from animals and pets? what is the danger?
Hi, there is no danger. They just might eat and scratch your mat to shreds! Or bite the cord connection!😁😉
It's OK for your pets too, at least I was told it was.
Just curious and wondering. Why is it not safe for children? Or what age limit is it?
It can be certainly used on children. They just need to be supervised completely. You do not want them to be putting the cord around their neck or sticking anything in the outlet. If you are with them 100% of the time it's fine. My son plays with LEGO and grounds it's a great thing for them also. 👌
I have mine at my desk at work but do have stockings on. Am I still getting the grounding affects? What about sitting or laying down on the mat with clothes on?
You will still get a grounding effect with socks on but for the best results it should be done barefoot for the most connectivity. You can also place your mat on your desk and let your elbows touch the mat. Even just sitting or laying on it with your elbows or calves touching with bare skin is effective. Feet naturally sweat a bit they are the most effective barefoot! Enjoy!
If the stockings are polyester you may not be getting a good connection.
How do I know, that my mat is active? What I'm I suppose to feel? I'm I suppose to feel a vibration or a boost of energy?
Depending how in tune you are to your body you might feel a slight tingling or warmth or circulation or you might not feel anything. Nothing substantial like vibration. People report feeling calmer, more centred (grounded), energized and a general feeling of wellbeing. The only true way to test if your mat is active is through a voltage meter. You need to trust it's working or if you are curious test it.
what is the metal bus bar?
@@valeriebayliss8974 sorry I don't know what you are talking about? Lol
Why not just buy a wrist strap for grounding
Super easy to just ground with bare feet. Sometimes this wrist straps might not make contact. I prefer large surface area with feet. :-)
How do i atrxmch it to the plug, i only got the wire and uk plug but can see the atting bit, im very confused its annoying me x
Sorry we don't quite understand your question? Please clarify thx
@@travelroller the pin on the end of the wire dosnt fit the plug(uk) its more like a plug for a beard shaver x
@@anjelagrant2204 sorry we don't have the information for non-North American plugs. Maybe find a company who sells Grounding Mats in the UK and ask them.
Can I ground myself using Aluminium foil? Or I shouldn’t?
Hi, you can not just use aluminum foil. You need to be connected to the earths ground. Either naturally barefoot outside on grass or earth, OR artificially using a grounding mat that connects by a plug to the ground outlet. Hope that helps. :-)
travelroller Yes that's how I am gonna do by grounding the aluminum foil using wire. My question is whether using aluminum foil for grounding is safe? Because when I ground using aluminium foil my hand and leg starts to pain little bit.
We do not recommend you ground with aluminum foil. Using a grounding mat is the safer way to go. There should not be any pain only a warming sensation
Yes, you can. You also need to have a wire (proper size???) that you somehow fix to the foil, and you need the grounding plug for the grounding receptacle on the electrical outlet. I was thinking of using copper wire, and a regular electrical plug from any appliance. IMPORTANT: You need to CUT OFF both prongs for the electrical connection. You just keep the round grounding pin on the plug, nothing else. So, that requires some nice tools to do this. You would also have to be able to open the plug in order to make the connection to ground inside of it. I am thinking you can buy a plug at HD that can be screwed open. Most commercial plugs that come with an appliance are welded/molded in one piece, so no way to open and rewire those.
To be fancier, you could use a mat that is used in the kitchen, to stand on for less fatigued legs. Thread the copper wire into it like a weave, then proceed with the plug as I wrote before. It should work. Oh, important is to get copper wire that is NOT varnished. That should be hard to do. We (hubby and I) have a technical lab, so we do the stripping of varnish off of wire all the time. Advantage for me, lol. If the wire is varnished, it is not giving you contact, so it would be useless.
I am also going to experiment with just a stripped bare, very thin and long copper wire, which I'll connect to a ground pin as stated above, then just wrap that wire around one of my ankles in bed. Keeps me grounded while I sleep and is less invasive than a whole sheet that needs washing etc...
One important point for last:
Don't hold me responsible for anything you do for yourself. I am just saying what I might do. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. I'm glad we cleared this up, lol. This is America... I tend to forget that... the land of lawyers and frivolous law suits!
The Video Channel I think aluminum is not the best either copper mesh with a dedicated rod outside hammered into the ground with a ten amp fuse on for safety in case lightning strikes ground around your area
Can this grounding mat be used to earth ground your TV or other electrical appliances??
We do not recommend using this product other then for its intended use: the Theraputic effect of grounding on the body.
Any TV or appliance plugged into a house outlet will automatically be grounded through the house electrical system.
Grounding while you Foam Roll with us! ua-cam.com/users/shortsgCCMMP5LFDI?feature=share Amazing combo to repair Fascia, hydrate tissues and get the antioxidants and inflammation reduction benefits of grounding!
so basically if you don't have a grounded outlet you're screwed
There are ways to get the ground from outside with a rod but not as easy as just plugging into an outlet! Get an ground outlet tester to check if your outlet is grounded. Hope that helps.

She is gorgeous 😉😘😏
Oh she is wearing bottoms
We're not Grounded because we wear Rubber soled shoes for the last hundred years.... So how does putting your feet on a Rubber mat change that?
Correct on the not grounding because if rubber shoes. A grounding mat like this is NOT made of rubber. Our TR earthing mat is made of conductive material that plugs into a ground outlet which is connected by your house to the outside ground (earth). This is is how when you put your feet on it indoors you are grounding. Hope that makes sense😊
