Instead of Tartary... mushk-e-KHutan means musk from navel/tartary of deer. Actually it's explained as this , that the navel of a female deer emits a fragrance to attract male deers. So in the poem it's like a reference to the fragrance of his beloved women that attracts him more to her.

He and whole crew destroyed the song and its charm before the end part, the typical Ali Zafar things, that's the reason even after giving hits he is still not a successful singer. This song is so special but the typical Ali Zafar fans will think that he did justice to the song, i don't blame you because you are not aware of it.
The version of this song with the voice of Waris Baig hits different, your should definitely react to Waris Baig version, his voice is just magical, i don't know that you are gonna love the music parts or not (as Waris Baig's version is old as compared to this Coke Studio version, keep in mind that Waris Baig version is also not the original version) but you are definitely gonna love Waris Baig voice, his voice is just magical.
Ali Zafar gave some big hit songs but in Pakistan he is still not a successful singer as compare to Atif Aslam, Sajjad Ali, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sahir Ali Bagga etc.
