I’m soo jealous of your ALDI store!! You guys have everything! It all looks super fresh and a ton of healthy options especially gluten-free items. A huge variety of items to choose from as well. I live in KANSAS CITY, MO USA and our ALDI stores are so sad and unhealthy compared to where you guys are. Man this makes me want to move. The USA has trash options for healthy food stores. And if we do have them they are super expensive and unaffordable. Which sucks for me since I have IBS and I’m still having a hard time figuring out what foods work for me. And it sucks for my mom who has stage 4 congestive heart failure and has to eat healthier foods.
Absolutely love/enjoy your videos! Found you when I started my gluten free journey after finding out I was allergic. Thank you so much and keep the recipes coming, love them! 😄
Becky Excell Well with me being a baker it’s not easy but I know what it does to my body so I remember that and keep plenty of GF snacks handy. 😉 Definitely been an adjustment with things but it’s been good. Been GF since April with a couple exceptions that I always end up regretting in the end. 😖
We need these things in the Aldi where I live in California. They have an awese.g free line of bread, pasta, crackers etc , but I'd love the things you showed!
I’ve avoided Aldi as I didn’t think they would have much in way of GF...looks like they have more than I thought. Those Mince Pies are the best I’ve ever tasted..even better than ones with Gluten!!
Tip - diced beef or casserole beef is always fairly poor in a stew or casserole. It’s best to get a join of beef and cut it up into bigger cubes. Better taste, not rubbery, stays tender. A little more work but worth it I think.
No problem! A lot of the stuff in there that's gf often has garlic/onion in it (including some of the stuff I showed in this video) but there is some good stuff in there! x
OMG, we live in the same town! Those roadworks are such a pain. Looks like we also shop at the same Aldi.I'm also a lactose and wheat intolerant vegetarian. FYI: Yogurt with active cultures, mature and blue cheeses and goat cheese and milk are all naturally low in lactose. Personally I can't drink low lactose milk as following gastric surgery I'm intolerant of sugars which lactose is converted to by the enzyme lactase which is added to the milk. So also follow a low sugar diet. ❤❤❤
Haha small world! It takes us a billion years just to drive 5 minutes lately 😂 Oh I'll tell Mark about the yoghurt, he'll love being able to eat that if he can!! Thanks for watching x
Becky and Mark great video!!! Love the glasses, I wear contacts. That was cute of the babies on the carrots. Haha I do feel for Mark because when I find something gluten free, I frown when I see it has milk in it. 😭 Your nails are so pretty Becky!!! I wish we had a free from isle but we don't. The free from, items are spread out all over, I have to search all over!! Also btw is your eggs not in a refrigerated isle? Xx. Sorry for such a long comment. 😉😉
Now I think about it, our eggs are never refridgerated! We don't keep them in the fridge at home either. Is that weird? 😂 Thanks for the kind words about my nails and our glasses haha. Thanks so much for watching also btw x
@@BeckyExcell Idk if I would call that weird but all grocery stores where I live have eggs in the refrigerated section. Then I put in the frig as soon as I buy them also. You are welcome.... I really liked this video
@@BeckyExcell no just Lidl but have a friend who comes to UK to bring things back for us expats here. Thank you so much Becky. Love from me and Gracie x

Once again, thank you Becky! These videos are really helpful ❤🙌🏻
So glad they help as we just really like making them!! x
The best couple, one gluten free and one dairy free 😂👍

Thanks so much for watching!! How are you finding being gf now? It can be really awful at first x

Hello Becky I’m new to FODMAP diet, hope to learn more a lot from you,I want to ask what app you are using for grocery list

Yes, it's getting better and better! I still wish they had at least one kind of gf bread 😭 I'll have to try the mince pies next time x
The Aldis where I live in the US is getting better about carrying more and more GF.
Tip - diced beef or casserole beef is always fairly poor in a stew or casserole. It’s best to get a join of beef and cut it up into bigger cubes. Better taste, not rubbery, stays tender. A little more work but worth it I think.
Ok thanks! I'll remember that next time! x
Apparently apples are worst fruit for IBS !?!!?
Yay aldi! Now I know what to get when I go for low fodmap thank you!!

Aldi is great. The tempura chicken and the fish goujons are awesome. Plus a lot of stuff clearly states GF on the front, which is a big help
Not meant have any meat or fish with breadcrumbs
You should try pink lady apples they are so good
Good luck with the butternut squash soup. It's low fodmap but only at excessively low portions, and I usually have strong reactions to it.
Thanks, I'll let you guys know how it goes! x
Just found your channel, very cool meal ideas ♥️ I'm just learning about fodmap and hope to make my stomach happier with one of your recipes 🥰

Apples give me the worst stomachache instantly
Me too.... They are not good for my IBS. 😭😭
Yes! I haven't tried to reintroduce any in a long time, but if I'm feeling brave... I will one day. Just not today! x
@@BeckyExcell Same with me Becky!!! Lowfodmap doesn't allow it. I'm in pain if I eat apples in any form
Mmm, that sounds so hot x
super to see you both and thankyou love you friends in bulgaria hugs x
Thanks so much for watching Tony! Do you have Aldi in Bulgaria? x

Love the grocery hauls! Xxxx
Can't have garlic with IBS nor onions
If the meat in breadcrumbs is gluten free is is low fodmap?🤔
'it's like frozen ice' as opposed to melted ice - which is water
Hello found your video quite interesting. And I'm new to your site

Apple are ok.
