@Mudpies I love the iridescence of that Harrods bottle. Great findings this video. I think y'all are the first mudlarking duo I've seen to find a whole Codd bottle. What a great find! You could have been shaking up a Mudslide cocktail in that shaker bottle. 😊
Lord and Lady Lushington make some great finds in the mud river! A whole cod bottle! Amazing! Keep the Harrods bottle whole. It's very cool! Mud wishes from Oz! 😁🧡
Love that Harrod’s bottle! Top find, don’t chop it! Get the lip repaired instead. Great finds! Too bad the stream was so unclear. Seems not to have kept the megalodon finds from appearing! Looking forward to the next.

Yet another lovely lark with the mudpies. Great finds and a great start to a frosty kiwi winter morning.. Thanks for sharing these wonderful muddy larks.
22:48 No, no, no!! 😧 Do not cut down your Harrod's bottle. It's one of a kind, so far, so even with the chipped lip, it's intrinsically very valuable as is. 😯🤩🙂
I love it when you return to the creek of dreams 😂... thank you for the shout out, it makes me feel like I am out there with you guys! 🎉 You truly smashed it, especially considering the murk...and I agree that the poison is exciting, it's so unusual to see an applied rather than a tooled lip on any NTBT, what a character!
hoi hoi great filming and video again. it's turned out in a good lark, after the not so happy faces in the beginning 😅 always enjoy watching you greetings Pieter
I always look forward to the Jaffa cameo at the end. 😍😻😽😺 That large marm is a belter, imho - very useful for so many things. 😁 Loved all this week's finds, actually. Creek larking is a whole lot easier on you two, physically, I think. Certainly very fun to watch. See you next time. Warm regards from hot, summery Ontario, Canada. 🥰😁🤗👌👍👋

Also loved the glass on that Shakey Shakey bottle - and a complete Call of Duty bottle into the mix? Fantastic day out wading in the gravy you two, thanks for the frolics!! ❤❤

You really do bring the mud into mudlarking. Great finds under very difficult visibility, but on a plus no dripping noses. 😁 I’d leave the Harrods, you could always cut it if/when you find another one. Love all your videos but the creek is my particular favourite location.
What a FUN lark! Tough conditions but you & Andy prevailed. 2 great codds and a fairly rare applied lip poison. I thought Andy was going down for a second. Was waiting for the repeat. Still laugh every time I think of his slow-mo fall. Hope all is well and training is progressing nicely. Take Care and don't drink too many espresso martinis🚴♂🚴♀😁

@@Mudpies Hi Josie: If you find the video of Andy doing the slip n slide, you should repost it or use it for an intro. I know Andy would appreciate the memory. Yay .. so nice to see a new video from our favorite father / daughter duo. Love the two tone marmalade and the complete cod bottle, I agree with the other comments about not cutting the Harrods bottle. Thanks so much for the great video, you two!!
Had plenty of those "not to be Taken" bottles over the years and seen even more but that drippy Vinegar Bitters style top one you pulled out of the mud is quite unique!
I worked on the mudflats for many years collecting shellfish, sacks of them. I found many items, ink wells, cod bottles, stoneware, an array of Differant bottles, clay pipes. I have the first pipe ever made ! I took it to the local museum and they authenticated it, tiny bowl as tobacco was very expensive when it first came here. I found the pipe in Southampton waters.
Andy-“What kind of cocktail are you making, Josie ?” Josie-“(shaking the mud out) Martini!” Best response IMO, “ Shaken, not stirred!” OR. “Dirty Martini” !!!😁
Happy 4th to our friends across the pond….from California USA. I just love the Harrods find. I would not cut it down. Instead, I’d repair it. It’s a rare find. Thanks.
Such some beautiful bottle finds 😍 and so sorry to hear about the water being murky . Nevertheless a great 👍 days hunting. Thanks for sharing and sending you our support 🔔 ❤👋. Wishing you both a happy Sunday 😊
The Harrods bot is a true belter, but I wouldn't cut it at all, please leave it as is. The poison was also such a beauty, I love the colour. What made me chuckle was the soundbite you placed in the final editing when Josie used a bit of "salty" language. The tiny marm was also a favourite of mine, I love seeing stoneware with some age. As always, I loved this video, and wonder what treasures you didn't find whilst squelching through the gravy! Take the best of care Mudpies!

Appreciate that weather may dictate where you will film next. Looking forward to hearing more of the sporting events for the remainder of the year. Had you thought of using a drone across the flats? Be safe out there. 😊
Great finds once again! That green poison was amazing! If you're up for an engineering experiment, I've seen local rockhounds here come up with a homemade tool to increase visibility in creeks and rivers. They take a small bucket (like a 2 gal baker's bucket), cut out and discard the bottom, and replace the bottom with a clear plastic like plexiglas or lexan. They epoxy it up so it's completely watertight again. When the new bottom is submerged just below the surface, you can see a lot more clearly because you've bypassed all the surface refraction. It may not be perfect with this much silt, but it's probably still a big improvement.
Another great video today. Question for you: have you ever found mineral water or ginger bottle with H D Rawlings on it? An ancestor worked for the company as a manager. It was based in central London from the early 19th century. Thanks for all you do.
Happy 4th of July everyone! ❤🎉❤
