- Kumru is typically with Sucuk, Meat Sausage cut into strips and slices, Cheese, Tomatos, Pickles, Ketchup and Mayonnaise in a bun made from chickpea flour and coated with grape juice and sprinkled with sesame seeds.
This gives the Kumru that special sweet taste and the balance of sweet, sour and salty.😋🔥

Kumru means turtledove in Turkish. It is assumed because the shape of the sandwich loaves resemble a dove with their pointed ends. The popular Turkish Street Food originally comes from the seaside resort of Çeşme, which is located in the south-west of Izmir.

The sausage that gets sliced in the tube is most probably Turkish. The other one is definitely Sucuk. The most famous Bavarian sausage types however are white (Weißwurst), or thin and short (Nürnberger) or very thick and short (Regensburger). The Fränkische Bratwurst has the size of the ones used, but a different raw color.

Although I might say that it is a nice attempt, this is not a `kumru`. First of all, as you also correctly told in the description above, the name of the sandwich cames from its bread and this is not the kumru bread. After you had the bread correctly, you can fill whatever you want and call it kumru (as varieties) but also the original one includes sucuk, cheese and tomato only. Pickles served a side and ayran makes perfect accompany.

Выглядит аппетитно, но после такой жратвы гастрит, панкреатит, метеоризм и язва желудка с коликами обеспечены.
Да, жира много ..кетчуп опять же, в котором много сахара.Ожирение сердца точно заработаешь.Если сосиски заменить на курицу или мясо, кетчуп на натуральный томатный соус - все будет ок.
