I loved the inside and outside styling on these cars. It was super conservative and all about function. The engine technology was inferior to Toyota's UZ V8 in their LS. The Qs were pigs on fuel with mixed city and highway getting you 14ish mpg. The LS got around 21 mpg. The timing chain on these cars also used multiple tensioners that are a PITA to get to for replacement as a part of maintenance. The design was not as bad as Jaguar V8s of the era that used plastic tensioner and chain guides but it was bad.
That cobalt is not even a comparison 😄 that q45 is such a gem of a car
If somebody traded that car for a Kia in my opinion that was a definite downgrade.
Until they have to pay $1000 to replace an O2 sensor lol
