Did you make this video just for me?? I am gradually coming a long way since we did the "my favorite organized space collab"....in fact I just finished organizing the clutter in the corner of my bedroom that had been accumulating for several years.....I took a break to admire my clean space and nearly cried. I cannot believe how motivated I am now. Thanks so much for your wonderful videos....I am getting my WIP self together.

Omigosh, the paper! So. Much. Paper. I'm a butterfly and I am overwhelmed in my tiny space with my 3 kiddos. I've been watching for for almost a year now (LOVE YOU) and am finally getting to the older videos where you talk about how unorganized and messy you were. I'm so inspired and encouraged that there's hope for me!! Thank you for being so real. And fun, you're so fun!

Hey, I started listening to you on your old channel back in 2012. I wasn't able to for a while until recently. My house got destroyed by my roommates (brother in law and his girlfriend[s]) they didn't help, clean up after themselves or the dogs/puppies; and I was in school full time! Now they're fine and I've lost my tough! However, now that I watch/listen to you again, I have HOPE! I've already gotten rid of 60+ items in the last 2 days since watching you and have organized many areas! it's starting to look like a home! I just want to say 'Thank You' for your videos; they motivate me and I love listening to you while I clean! Thanks a bunch and God Bless!

You asked for tips.....I love the instant pot! It's quick and easy. I learned a trick years ago that I always use. I use the dishwasher tabs that you don't have to unwrap. Yay! I also purchase dishwasher powder to keep on hand to use to clean hard to clean items like baked on casserole pans Etc. Fill the pain with hot water and sprinkle on some of the dishwasher powder, let's soak for a while and no scrubbing! yay! I'm loving all your tips!

Approximately 3rd time thru this house(we moved 14 times...military family)...I decided this time, I would REALLY go after the items...that we no longer use...and same thing...at least a box or a bag a day...if not more....and I try to stay out of the stores...I don't know...sometimes, I think stuff just multiplies over night.
You've been such a help to me...I've played SO MANY of your videos while I'm either doing the purging...or resting from the purging...as I get ready to go back and work on it, again....I'm successfully moving thru the house again....it is completely decluttered...except for the attic which I am tackling now and getting ready to go back up...(could NOT BELIEVE how many overnight bags we had)...and then, outside to do yardwork..esp the backyard which seems to never get touched...outside of the lawn.
I loved the tip where you said, go back at night to pick up..and see where the problems are...that line of reasoning makes a WHOLE lot of sense....also, in some of your other videos, I saw that you used a compartmentalized bag for picking up the home...great idea...I'll probably implement this idea right away.😀

Might sound silly, but I started getting organized by cleaning and purging my medicine cabinet! I have a bad back so I do a little at a time. Took awhile, but now I am down to one bedroom and small "family room" in basement to purge and clean. Love this idea with toys, one comment, autistic children want the same toys they have a favorite and will not deal with a new bin, the bin still works perfectly it just can't be rotated, autism is becoming majorly common in families so just know .. that even if your child has not yet been diagosed, many never are a mild sign of "not" being ok with toy rotation still makes this system doable.. its great that your child is ALWAYS happy with his or her favorite!! And the bin box works great I used a flat under the bed type container that slip under my couch!

Hi Cas! I just found your channel a few days ago and have been binge watching your videos. I love your suggestion about having a dishwashing schedule. I have always found if I run my dishwasher at night, to unload in the morning, I am super stressed in the morning while I'm making breakfast and my daughter's lunch for school because the dishwasher is full and things pile up in the sink (I never seem to get up early enough to unload it first thing). So, after trying a few different things, I started running my dishwasher after lunch and emptying it before I start dinner. The dinner dishes go in the dishwasher, the breakfast dishes the following morning and then my lunch dishes. I run it, and start the process all over again. I wanted to share my "dishwashing schedule" because it has really helped me with my morning stress by giving me one less thing to do on a busy morning. Love your videos!!!

I will add a concept of buying pieces of storage furniture or transforming a closet into a storage place. I had the tiniest bedroom closet in the universe. It was exactly a small door width and I would have had to get rid of half of my clothes to fit them in that space. I bought an armoire for hanging my clothing and those 2 spaces together just about manage all of my clothing except for coats. I also had no space for kitchen appliances and got rid of almost every pot and pan that I had and just kept 2 pots, but still wanted to be able to have things like an Instant Pot but didn't have cabinets that would allow for that. But I put removable wood shelves in my spare room closet and that is where all of my kitchen gadgets and appliances are and I end up cooking more because of having easy access to things that make cooking easier. I batch cook on the weekends and eat that food all week and that lowers how many dishwasher loads I need to do.

What a great way to start! I've gotten as far as doing the ultra clean-up of the front rooms (usually before a party - we joke that nothing would get cleaned up if people didn't visit!) but when it gets trashed the day of or the day after, I never stopped to analyze - oh hey, looks like the hall tree isn't enough for everyone to put ALL their jackets and hats and purses on. (How many do you think we have in our four person home right now?? You'd be shocked!) Maybe we'd better clear space in the hall closet for some of those. Or send them upstairs to their own closets. Sheesh!

You talked about videos with better lighting and better quality in your last video. I must say, I don't know what you did but wow. The video looks awesome. I'm a true subscriber, lighting or no lighting, I'll still watch your videos. I like them. But I did notice the difference.
