This was my go-to album as a depressed, lost 15 year old. Now as a born again wife and mother of two I find such value in this album. I always knew that this band was Christian but it didn’t matter to me at the time because I was never raised with faith. I listened to this album again recently after praying for guidance and I have a whole new appreciation for it. I can’t express the gratitude I feel towards God who brought me back here. You guys were doing the Lord’s work long before I personally realized it and I am so thankful. It’s hard to find music in the genre that I love and relate to that expresses His Grace. Thank you 💕 I saw you guys on the Monster Outbreak tour and I just wish I was who I am today back then. Keep it up!
Same, I started listening to them around 14, saw them in concert at 15 and now I’m 21 and just started listening again and they are just as good as when I stopped listening!
Rocking this song at the smoke shop i run, fuck I've been rocking this whole album for so long... But this song in particular I keep as a constant reminder that no matter where you look its only temporary and to just keep building for the future... When i heard this song i was a young teen playing shows doing stupid shit for hell of it and now I'm 25 still relating to a song that's helped me through so much, i survived an attempt on my own life and the first song I hear on my apple music is this. I'm not religious but i do believe in purpose, this song helped me find my purpose. I use to think it was to try and be some famous musician and travel the world. Now i focus on just healing the emotionally injured and helping those who are in need. Idgaf it may be just a song but it hits different to me.
these guys mean soooooo much to me....... i swear mattys lyrics are sooooo passionate and true. i love this band sooo much gives me chills everytime i listen to them
@Kryo6 I agree with you so much but why do you have to bring in other bands into the picture i love A Skylit Drive and they're not even that big... But you're right when you say they deserve so much more popularity than they have
They aren't original,their lyrics tell a story in every song they have. Unlike most bands that put different stories together with no moral or thought. And call it a song.
@Kryo6 duuuude... dont compare this to Blessthefall :D:D:D And bytheway this band is not unpopular. just search for memphis may fire they got houndredthausend of views :)
all on the suggestion videos are about MMF but one thing is odd WHY is the WORLDS BIGGEST BOOGER on the suggestions hahaha O.o DAFUQ youtube?! hahahahaha

@aysoreferee459 You're pointing this out why?
Anyone 2024??
@Kryo6 its because their music has christian roots i know it doesnt make any sense to me either
@JethroJesusJudge How So?
The Rise channel has a ton more views :P
I was reading the lyrics but in my mind i was all like
'Lyrics what are you doing? lyrics go home you're drunk'
Why must we put other bands down to bring another one up?
he is a Christian...he said it in an interview.

@JethroJesusJudge really ? ? ? wenk,wenk,wenk. . . =P
@aysoreferee459 I would be screaming "plagiarism" but that's not gonna change anything.
nothing similar
its because its un original it doesn't stick out, it sounds too much like every other metalcore/screamo band
honestly the victim is complete crap compared to this song, because this one is good with good lyrics
boring.
