Was Ian on the film or the original British play of superstar? I don't know much about this stuff. I clicked on this video and was a lot happier than I thought it might be just because I didn't know most of this.
If you loop the wammy At end of highway off MIJ just loop it 10 times, what he does with that bar is so rare . I’ve never hear anyone work the bar in that short time. All by mistake being recorded. Almost never happened
This is one of your older videos that you've really up to your sound recording of your stuff. Got a snowball microphone huh? The newer stuff is much better.
I am always dazzled by the complexity of these hard rock tunes which at first listen just sound like pure power and little else.
Oh yeah, especially with a band like Purple, so much going on!
Keep them coming! Enjoying the breakdowns.
Thanks, I certainly will!

I think he was just in the original stage version. Great song, I think I'll probably do some more Song Breakdowns soon!

One more thing. Blackmore had a 1/4 in bar made customer by his tech because he would break the standard fender 10-32 thread pitch bar
I could see that, he really went off on those bars!

Yeah, I should probably just pull that one down, I was recording straight on to my phone then, ha ha!
