It’s so refreshing to have a band like MxPx. This is punk rock for our grown men and women/married with kids generation that used to enjoy this type of music back in the 90’s and is still loving it nowadays!
With your music You guys talked to me when I was 17, and now I'm 36 and you guys are still talking to me. Amazing.

Punk is Dad!
MxPx are one of the few "punk" rock bands that include family in their videos. Family is a theme that's common in country music, but not so much in this genre. It's a nice thing to see. It's refreshing and original.

Mike is also a country guy, it makes a lot of sense. With Tumbledown and "Late Again" and everything.
Theres a ton of punk about friends and family and living free thats the punk life not being controlled not being a sheep equal rights and living life for what it truly is

Seeing that footage of mxpx playing in front of 4 people is super inspiring. It shows us, that's how we started too. You guys are such an inspiration to us as a band.
They started out supporting Jesus, but that doesn't fit the narrative or pay the lavish lifestyle.

I remember way back in the day in 1995 I had this band come and do a concert in an obscure small town in New Mexico and they played in a skating ring and the sound was horrible. They had car troubles and got a flat tire on their trailer but they still made it and played on anyway. They were very young guys back then of course so was I. Cool to still see them doing music.
